General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, December 6 Recap – Carly Slaps Peter – Victor’s Hayden Confession

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, December 6, recap reveals that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) slapped Peter August (Wes Ramsey) while Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) made a confession related to Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) also learned Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Tait) secret, so here’s how it all went down on Monday’s action-packed episode.

At GH, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talked to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) about Jason thinking she was special, but Britt still seemed a tad bitter over him leaving her for Carly. She thought maybe it was easier to feel that bitterness than face the thought of never seeing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) again.

Sonny acknowledged that Jason and Carly’s complex relationship was hard to understand. He knew Jason had stepped up for the family’s sake and thought Jason loved all of them in his own way. Britt was surprised by Sonny suddenly being in the consolation business, so he hinted about people telling him he’s changed since he came back.

By the elevator, Peter suggested maybe he should tell Carly the rest of what happened in Nixon Falls. Carly pushed the guards to let her have a word for Peter and slapped him when he brought up Jason.

After Peter was wheeled away, Nina scrambled to cover and acted like Peter just wanted to cause trouble. Carly felt there was more to the story, so Nina claimed Peter blackmailed her over Sonny being alive and kept away from his loved ones.

Carly remained suspicious, but she took the opportunity to blame Nina for Jason’s death. Since Nina didn’t turn Peter into the cops, Carly felt Nina was responsible for Jason losing his life on Cassadine Island.

Sonny walked over just before Nina rushed off, so Carly warned him not to defend Nina this time. Although Sonny feared Jason’s death had driven her over the edge, Carly didn’t think her reaction was any different from when Sonny died.

Sonny made a point to mention that he was Carly’s husband, so Carly seemed curious about what he was implying. However, Carly ended up stomping away after Sonny got a text. That text involved Nina asking Sonny to meet her in the chapel about something important, so he joined her soon after.

Nina admitted Peter was threatening to spill about their more than friendly relationship in Nixon Falls, so Sonny acknowledged the terrible timing. At the Quartermaine mansion, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) came home to plenty of shocking revelations.

Willow looked like she’d seen a ghost when she spotted Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) – and it was Michael’s turn next. After Willow left the two of them alone, Drew offered updates on Jason’s presumed death and left Michael in despair.

Back with Willow, she heard the nanny call Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) “Daddy” and was taken aback. Chase took “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) in his arms as Willow wondered why Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) didn’t correct the mistake.

That led to Chase telling Willow that he just found out he was “Bailey’s” father. Brook Lynn said she lied about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) being the “baby daddy” to gain control of ELQ shares, so Willow wasn’t pleased over the news.

Chase assured Willow that he was only with Brook Lynn that one time and made it clear that they weren’t a couple. Brook Lynn backed Chase up about just being friends and co-parents, but Willow pointed out that’s what she used to be with Michael.

After Michael joined Willow, they learned Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had a difficult birth and that her baby was in the NICU. That sent Willow and Michael to the hospital, where Michael comforted Carly with a hug and pointed out Jason could still be alive since no body was discovered.

As for Willow, she approached the chapel where Sonny and Nina were loudly discussing their Nixon Falls romance. Willow listened outside the ajar door as Sonny said the truth should come from him. Nina added that their love was the purest thing she’d ever known and that she could never regret it, so Willow looked stunned.

Next, Drew asked Chase and Brook Lynn if he could hold “Bailey,” so they happily agreed. Drew hated that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was missing out on so much time with her daughter and thought it was amazing that she was hanging onto hope. He urged Brook Lynn and Chase to make every moment count with “Bailey” before vowing not to rest until Louise was found.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) tried his best to get rid of Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) before Victor’s arrival, but they crossed paths at Wyndmere anyway. Victor thought he had Ava to thank for his freedom since her info sent Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in his direction.

Ava wanted to be kept in the loop on any Cassadine business, so she joined the conversation about Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Victor acknowledged that Hayden and those close to her had to be dealt with, so Ava asked if he commissioned crimes unsolicited.

Victor argued that he protected Nikolas and Wyndemere, so Nikolas wondered what Victor had done to Hayden. Nevertheless, Victor urged Nikolas not to ask questions he didn’t want the answers to. After Victor discussed all the Peter drama and mentioned he might need to ask Nikolas for a favor or two at some point, he headed for the exit.

Nikolas turned his attention back to Ava, who was curious about his next move. Since Victor was a threat, Nikolas warned that they had to send him packing with a one-way ticket anywhere but there!

At a safe house, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) were a little too noisy while playing a game. They caused a false alarm for the agents guarding them – and one of them eventually filled Laura in on a very much alive Victor cutting an immunity deal.

When Laura found out Victor was back in Port Charles, she panicked and wanted to head home ASAP. Martin convinced Laura that the risk was too great since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) still had targets on their backs, so she agreed to stay put for now.

Outside the safehouse, a new housekeeper showed up and got questioned by the guard out front. She claimed the usual one was sick and asked if she should clean or just leave the stuff she brought. The guard pushed the cleaning lady to leave the stuff and go, so she put down the bag and took off.

Once the woman was back in her car, she got on the phone with her boss – presumably Cyrus – and made it clear that they bought her story. The woman was eager to find out what her next move should be.
