General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, February 1 – Carly Trashes Nelle, Nina Takes Blame for Daughter Death – Cam’s Angry Outburst

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, February 1, tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will turn to someone for help. Now that Anna knows about Dr. Warren Kirk’s (Jamison Jones) connection to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), this seems like something Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) could dig for more info on.

Whatever the case, Anna will do her best to connect the dots and figure out what’s really going on here. Over with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), he’ll be perplexed about a delay. “What are you waiting for?!” Franco exclaims in Monday’s preview clip.

It looks like Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will be the one who responds. Franco will likely want to know why Cameron hasn’t moved forward with Stanford plans now that he knows he got in.

Cameron will be hesitant to make things official despite Franco’s insistence that this would be a dream come true.

“How could you possibly say that?” Cam says angrily in the promo. Due to Franco’s tumor and everything that’s going on with the “Friz” family, Cameron will have major reservations about leaving everyone stuck in so much chaos.

Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll have a reason to flip out. “Who else knows you’re in town?!” Britt demands to know in Monday’s preview video.

It seems Britt may catch Liesl lurking around and pull her aside for a private lecture. Britt may think Liesl is being far too reckless for someone who wanted to keep her return a secret!

Other General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will spread his engagement news. Once Nikolas fills Laura Collins (Genie Francis) in, he’ll also want some advice.

Nikolas may admit he’s fallen hard and really doesn’t want to know this – especially now that he wants to marry Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) for real.

Laura will think there’s an important question that Nikolas needs to ask himself. She’ll wonder if Nikolas trusts Ava, so he may confess that he does. It took a long time for Nikolas and Ava to reach a good place, but they finally got there.

Since Ava and Nikolas have such a deep bond now, there’s indeed trust between them.

Meanwhile, Ava will catch up with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and wonder if the story Peter August (Wes Ramsey) published is true. Franco should come clean about the tumor, but he won’t approve of Peter’s salacious tactics.

The article has almost all of Port Charlies locking their doors and hiding their children!

Franco should insist there have been no signs of “Bad Franco” returning yet. He may bring Ava up to speed on his deal with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and perhaps reveal that hearing Peter’s voice in his hear is his only symptom.

At the Metro Court, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will insist he already knows the outcome. He can tell based on Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) body language that they know they’ve been caught.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might suggest a DNA test on something that belonged to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) or one on Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

If so, that may be the outcome Valentin’s referring to. Valentin may have no doubt that Nelle is Nina’s biological daughter – and that Jax has been covering it up along with Carly.

Jax decided he was ready to come clean on Friday, but he’ll have trouble finding the words on Monday. Even so, Jax will feel like Nina deserves to hear the truth.

“What truth are you talking about?” a confused Nina wonders on Monday’s GH preview video. Nina will be overwhelmed and trying to make sense of all this.

It looks like Jax will confess to how long he’s been hiding this secret. Jax may spill the story about Carly coming to him with the pendant and how they decided to keep it quiet to protect Nina’s heart.

It should make sense to Nina why Jax suddenly advised against pursuing the bio daughter search any further.

Based on General Hospital spoilers happening later in the week, it doesn’t look like Jax will spill anything about the cliff fall cover-up. However, Nina will still have a lot to process.

Nina might even have flashbacks of a few nice moments she shared with Nelle – like the warm embrace just before Nina betrayed her own flesh and blood on the stand!

Nina will ponder what might’ve been and undoubtedly get quite emotional. GH fans will likely see Nina blame herself for not being there for Nelle and for contributing to the custody loss.

That led to the kidnapping and the downward spiral that resulted in Nelle’s death, so Nina may insist this is all her fault.

“You have to stop this,” Carly declares with a disgusted look on her face in Monday’s promo. Carly may insist that Nelle was a lost cause – someone who slit throats, plotted to destroy lives, switched babies and more.

Carly might argue that Nina needs to stop acting like Nelle was someone who could be saved.

From Carly’s perspective, she may think it was lucky that Nina never knew and couldn’t be manipulated by the bio daughter connection. This could lead to a major faceoff between Nina and Carly, so stay tuned for some exciting scenes!
