General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, February 8, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will struggle to believe her ears. Nina was apparently calling Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), but it was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who answered for The Tan-O and said Mike was speaking.
Nina seemed taken aback and may find herself feeling like this voice sounds awfully familiar.
After Nina asks “Mike” to repeat his name, he should do what he’s told and hand the phone over to Phyllis. That should lead Nina to ask questions and potentially find out that Phyllis has picked up an amnesiac stray.
Phyllis might even note that “Mike” had some hint of recognition when she mentioned meeting Nina in Port Charles. It didn’t ring full-blown bells for Sonny, but he suggested it brought a little chime.
Will Nina put the clues together and determine that Sonny may be alive at Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar?
It’s looking that way so far, but someone just might change Nina’s mind about blabbing. “Have you not heard a word I’ve said?” Ava says forcefully in Monday’s GH episode.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will argue on someone’s behalf, so she may think she has to come clean and hopefully give Sonny back to his family.
Nina might suggest she’s no better than Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) if she hides the truth, but Ava may think that’s just it. Why should Nina confess when Carly hid the truth about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)?
General Hospital spoilers point to Nina having a change of heart and unleashing her wrath in the week ahead. Perhaps Ava will help Nina figure out that Carly was on the cliff with Nelle that night.
If Nina makes some wrong assumptions and ultimately believes Carly murdered Nelle, that’ll be a game-changer when it comes to what Nina reveals about Sonny.
Whatever the case, Nina will be rattled over this phone call with Sonny and should have a chance to get Ava’s thoughts on the matter soon. In the meantime, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will catch Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) off guard when he admits he already did something.
Franco might confess about his confrontation with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), which obviously got heated.
As for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll be surprised when someone seemingly offers an apology. While Liz reacts to that apology, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will want to know who changed Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) mind about Peter.
Of course, Anna already knows the answer is Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so she’s hoping Britt will admit it and point her in Liesl’s direction.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will get tired of sharing theories in the cemetery. Valentin will snap that he wants to hear it from Peter, so he’ll want Peter to put the rest of the puzzle pieces together.
Although Valentin is in the loop on more than Anna when it comes to Peter’s dark history, he’ll want Peter to tell him every last detail. Peter should put up a fight, but he needs to think long and hard before he turns Valentin into an enemy rather than an ally!
We’ll see if Peter relents and tells Valentin everything he wants to know.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly will head to Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) grave with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
“It just feels like our family can never escape,” Josslyn admits during their cemetery visit. She may reflect on Morgan’s death and then Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) grim fate.
Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) demise followed – and then Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) was killed, too. Now Sonny is presumed dead, so it’s been a lot of loss for Josslyn to deal with. Joss will confide in Carly as they do their best to support each other, but they won’t realize Sonny’s alive and just needs some help to get home.
We’ll bring you updates as other GH news pops up. General Hospital spoilers say some Sonny shockers are still to come, so drop by again soon. CDL will have all the thrilling General Hospital spoilers, news and updates you need!
