General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, January 18 Recap - Willow & Michael Call It Quits - Ava Gets Necklace - Sonny Disarms Robber

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, January 18, reveal that Phyllis Caulfield (Juliette Jeffers), Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) stood silent while the guy robbing the Tan-O Bar yelled at Lenny to empty out the cash register.

Suddenly, Sonny disarmed the guy and threw him to the floor. Sonny held the guy at gunpoint.

Eventually, Sonny told the guy to leave, and he scrambled out of the bar. Phyllis was thankful, and Lenny mused that Sonny wasn’t at all intimidated by the situation.

Sonny said that he didn’t know how he knew to do all of that. Phyllis told Sonny that he could have the room above the bar, and Sonny left to go upstairs.

Lenny wondered exactly who Sonny was and which side of the law he learned all his moves on. Phyllis said that she didn’t care who he was in the past, and just then Sonny reemerged, having overheard the exchange.

Sonny said that he didn’t want to cause any more trouble and would go, but Phyllis insisted that Sonny stay.

At the Metro Court, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) met with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), asking him how to be a spy. Olivia said that she needed to help Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) might have had something to do with Alexis’ DUI arrest.

Robert then gave Olivia some interrogation tips.

Over at the bar, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) found Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and wondered why she was there and not home grieving for Sonny. Carly explained that she didn’t know how to grieve, and that she was struggling with whether to have Sonny declared legally dead.

Carly worried that what happened to Sonny was karma for what happened with Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Jax said that the two things were unrelated, but Carly wasn’t sure they should continue to keep the secret about Nelle from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Jax thought that it was too late to tell the truth now.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) talked about Willow’s kiss with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Willow and Michael admitted that they still had feelings for Chase and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), respectively.

Willow and Michael also agreed that their feelings for each other were based on a false reality, and that yet they didn’t regret a single moment of what had happened. Willow and Michael ultimately agreed that it was time to sign the annulment papers.

In the foyer of the Q mansion, Tracy returned home and found Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) getting ready to celebrate Leo Falconeri’s (Aaron Bradshaw) adoption. Tracy revealed that she had been at Alexis’ house and that Olivia had been there. Olivia arrived home, and Ned went upstairs to talk with Leo.

Olivia then used her newfound spy techniques on Tracy, and she got Tracy to say (falsely) that Alexis had disabled her security system on the night of the DUI.

Olivia was about to pounce when Ned returned saying that Leo was all ready for his adoption celebration. Later, Olivia asked Alexis what really happened the night that Alexis drove her car off the road.

In the Corinthos kitchen, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) returned from a school function, and Josslyn was down about Sonny’s presumed death.

Josslyn mentioned that she might get her journal back out, and Cameron said that he thought she threw it out. Josslyn said no, that she just put it away for safekeeping.

Josslyn went to look for her journal, thinking that it might be helpful to write about everything that happened with Sonny. Soon, Josslyn returned upset, saying that her journal was gone. Cameron looked guilty.

At Crimson, Nina held her half-heart pendant then put it in a box of mementos as Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) came in. Ava mentioned the necklace that Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) found, and she thought that maybe Nina or Jax could talk to Carly about it. Nina said no.

Talk turned to Nina’s search for her daughter, and Ava was surprised to hear that Nina was done searching. Ava wondered if Nina really wanted to give up the search, or whether the whole thing was Jax’s idea. Nina insisted that it was her idea.

Later, after Ava was gone, Jax entered the office and Nina wondered if perhaps Josslyn would like one of her high school mementos from her volleyball days. Nina mentioned that she’d be a part of Jax’s family for a long time, which prompted Jax to agree and tell Nina that he loves her.

Back in the Corinthos kitchen, Josslyn was alone when Ava arrived wondering if Josslyn would look through Carly’s things for Avery’s half-heart necklace. Josslyn was bristly toward Ava, but she retrieved the necklace and gave it to Ava.

However, Josslyn told Ava that she’d never forgive her for what she did to Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Ava got upset and left in a hurry.

Finally, at the coffee shop, Cameron and Trina talked about Josslyn’s journal. Cameron revealed that Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) stole the journal and Trina was horrified.

Trina and Cameron didn’t want to tarnish Josslyn’s memory of Dev, so they decided to only tell Josslyn about Dev’s actions if she brings the subject up again.
