General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, July 12 – Jason Blasts Cruel Carly Over Britt – Austin’s Michael GH Wing Curiosity

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 12, tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will blast cruel Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) over her treatment of Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) – and Austin (Roger Howarth) will express curiosity over the Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) GH wing. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will also want to forget a momentary lapse in judgement, so here’s what fans can expect.

First, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be in panic mode as she tells Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) they’re in huge trouble.

Maxie seems concerned about Austin scoring a job at GH, especially since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was dropping hints about knowing who he really was.

Maxie may feel like Austin’s going to be a problem somehow, but Brook Lynn might argue that he hasn’t caused any drama so far.

Brook Lynn will probably add that their real problem is Maxie since she can’t stop hovering over the baby and showing up at the Quartermaine mansion every chance she gets.

Over with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll let Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) know he’s sorry about Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) meddling.

Curtis will want to clear the air and get rid of all this weird tension, but he’ll be surprised by Portia’s response.

“It’s a little late for that,” Portia says in Monday’s preview video. She surely won’t mean it’s too late to apologize since this isn’t even Curtis’ fault.

Portia might just argue that their romance was better left in the past or something along those lines.

Curtis won’t succeed in overcoming the tense vibe between them just yet, but they’ll have another conversation later in the week that helps them move forward.

In the meantime, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will remain in protective custody as he talks to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) about his first priority.

Shawn has been behind bars for shooting Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), but he didn’t commit the crime.

Shawn will be determined to find out who’s actually responsible, so Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had better watch out for this growing threat.

At GH, Austin will already have his lab coat on as he tackles his first official day on the job. He’ll talk about how he’s going to have the time of his life and will wind up chatting with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Austin will quiz Carly about the Michael Corinthos wing of the hospital, so she should wonder what this guy’s deal is and why he’s so curious.

Of course, we know it’s because Austin has a Quartermaine connection that’ll be revealed soon.

It looks like Austin is the son of illegitimate Quartermaine Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond), so that’s a shocker that’ll be unleashed at the upcoming ELQ meeting.

Until then, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will show up in Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) office to apologize.

Perhaps Liesl will feel like she got Britt’s hopes up about a future with Jason. Obrecht may argue that she set Britt up for heartbreak, but Britt surely won’t see it that way.

The only people Britt blames in this situation are Jason, Carly and herself for believing happiness was in the cards for her.

As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll wonder how Sam is holding up after her wild Fourth of July. Dante will be sorry for overstepping with the kiss, but Sam will ask if they can just forget that ever happened.

However, it’ll certainly be hard for Dante to erase that lip lock from his mind – and the same goes for Sam.

Their friendship will inevitably change now that they’ve taken this step into steamy territory, so we’ll see how long it takes Sam and Dante to surrender to temptation again.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get her wrist checked out after that incident at Pentonville.

Alexis’ osteoporosis is a factor here, so she’ll get examined and worry there’s bad news to report.

Let’s hope Alexis will get some positive updates instead. At least Alexis knows she doesn’t have to go back to solitary confinement, so that’s a huge relief!

Sam will fret over Alexis’ health on every level, but she’ll arrive to support her mom soon enough.

As for Carly and Jason, they’ll fight over how Carly handled things with Britt.

Carly is honestly just being downright cruel and pouring salt in Britt’s wound at this point. She needs to leave Britt alone – and Jason may flat-out tell Carly so.

“Are you hoping for the same thing?” Carly asks Jason in Monday’s preview clip. She may feel like part of Britt has been holding out hope for a Jason reunion and worry Jason still wants Britt, too.

Then again, Carly might express her own desire to build a happy life with Jason and hope they’re on the same page.

Regardless, Jason will want Carly to back off Britt and stop adding to their issues. General Hospital spoilers say some gripping scenes are ahead in Port Charles!

CDL will have other fantastic soap spoilers, updates and news for you, so stop by frequently.
