General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 26, tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will plot against Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) cleanup duty. There’ll also be a missing Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) investigation, so here’s what fans can expect on Monday’s exciting episode.
At GH, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will insist the decision has been made and will reveal who’s going to be the hospital’s chief of staff.
Will it be Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) or perhaps a surprise co-chief of staff situation?
Whatever the case, Britt will turn her attention to an eavesdropper later. She’ll lash out at someone, so that could be a sign that she’s in a foul mood and unhappy with the outcome.
In the meantime, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will mix business with pleasure – at least in a way. They’ll enjoy lounging by the Metro Court pool, but they’ll also make time to question someone Shawn refers to as a target.
It looks like that target will be Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) since we know Shawn’s set to quiz him about Hayden’s disappearance.
Shawn will hope to score more information and hopefully follow a trail that leads back to Hayden’s shooter.
At Spring Ridge, Alexis will tell Ryan that it’s fancy meeting him there. She’ll goad Ryan, but she presumably won’t get any real reaction since Ryan’s still faking his locked-in syndrome.
Alexis will soon decide she might be able to help Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) if she can watch over Ryan closely and expose him as the stalker.
Of course, Alexis doesn’t realize it’s Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) who sent the creepy gifts and worked to end Nikolas’ marriage to Ava Jerome (Maura West).
As for Nikolas, he’ll seem somber as he opens up to someone. Nikolas will talk about how he might be losing his wife, so that hope he’s been clinging to will start to fade.
It could be Alexis who Nikolas confides in since we know he’ll visit her at Spring Ridge. That’s when Alexis will offer to try and expose Ryan as the stalker.
This scheme could be dangerous in more ways than one since Ryan is a menace and Alexis has been warned to stay on her best behavior!
In Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) office, Anna will spell out exactly what she thinks happened the day Peter August (Wes Ramsey) went missing.
Anna won’t have all the details, but the overall story will be as true as it gets. Finn is indeed to blame for Peter’s death, but Anna will warn him not to implicate himself.
However, Finn will confirm Anna’s got it right and get some advice on what’s next.
Anna will warn that if she found Peter’s trail, the police won’t be far behind. She’ll want to help Finn take care of this, so he’ll reluctantly let her get involved in the mess.
As for Jason, he’ll push Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to come clean since he’s pretty sure she’s in trouble.
Jason will urge Liz to let him help her, so she’ll relent and spill the whole ugly story. We’ll see Jason resolve to take care of this while Anna’s off telling Finn she’ll do the same.
Anna and Jason will eventually wind up headed down to the sub-basement freezer at the same time.
There’s a good chance they’ll both discover Peter’s body is gone by midweek, July 28, so this storyline is about to take a stunning turn!
Until then, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will seem rather flirty as she tells “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) they have a lot of catching up to do.
Sonny will smile in response and no doubt like the sound of that. He’s on cloud nine now that Nina’s back and willing to stay for as long as the Caulfields need her.
As other GH news comes in, we’ll bring you updates. General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Sonny’s romance will remain complicated, so don’t miss what’s in store!
