General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, July 5 Recap – Spencer’s Stalker Footprint – Britt & Jax Land in Bed – Bad Old Judge Carson

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, July 5, reveals that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) left behind a stalker footprint clue while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) landed in bed together. “Victor” also lied to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), so here’s what happened on Monday’s action-packed GH show.

At The Savoy, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) decided that Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) might’ve forged a journal entry with bad kisser claims.

As for Trina, she filled Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and others in on how she wound up covered in fake blood.

Trina revealed how she’d faced off with the stalker before she got caught in Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) trap.

After Trina walked away to get cleaned up, Spencer showed up at The Savoy without his stalker disguise on. He claimed he worked there and praised her entrance as an epic, memorable one – though he wanted to make sure Trina was all right.

When Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) name came up, Spencer resorted to some trash talk and immediately got scolded for it. Ava is Trina’s friend, so she refused to stand for any negative talk.

Spencer advised Trina not to let what happened spoil the fun of the party, so she took the advice and learned his name was “Victor” – at least according to him!

Once alone, Spencer wiped a smear of fake blood off his hand and looked at a pic of himself with Nikolas as well as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) on his phone.

Spencer muttered that he was sorry, but he was doing this for Father’s own good.

Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) got a bit flirty with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as he asked about her love life.

That’s why when Nina met up with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) again later, she felt confident Taggert wasn’t jealous and couldn’t have been the one hindering Portia’s relationship with Curtis.

At the gallery, Nikolas explained his trap and offered reassurance to Ava about the pepper spray. Ava was so glad Nikolas was OK and so mad over his scheming!

Ava hit his chest with her purse and ultimately reminded Nikolas of when he tried to gaslight her.

Ava thought Nikolas was doing it again by acting like her concerns weren’t valid. She stood by her desire for a divorce and insisted she was going to have one.

As for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), they examined an unusual footprint in evidence that served as a new stalker clue.

At Charlie’s Pub, Britt and Jax discussed Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) impending marriage to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). After a toast to being single, Jax trashed Jason a bit since his first loyalty was always to Carly.

Britt actually wound up defending Jason as someone who protects the people he loves, but Jax argued that was a short list – and Carly was at the top of it.

Although Britt fished to find out if Jax still wanted Carly, he hinted about another woman being on his mind – one who wanted nothing to do with him.

In the end, Britt asked Jax to come back to her room with her. Jax went along with the idea, so they let their passion erupt back in Britt’s suite.

Next, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) got some troubling updates from Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) at Pentonville.

They learned Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was in solitary confinement before Shawn requested a private moment for legal counsel with Molly.

Shawn wanted Molly to know Alexis was really in solitary because of Judge Carson (Anita Finley).

Shawn also wanted Molly to stand down and let Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) take it from here, but Molly wasn’t keen on staying out of it.

Instead, Molly decided she’d take Judge Carson up on the mentoring offer and gave TJ the news.

Meanwhile, Alexis finally fell asleep in solitary confinement and had a dream she was berating herself.

This dream version of Alexis was standing in front of her with a warning to stop butting into things – or else she’d make things far worse and would stay in solitary.

General Hospital spoilers say Judge Carson will cause plenty more problems, so don’t miss what’s coming up on ABC’s GH.
