General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, June 28, tease that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will grill shady Austin (Roger Howarth) while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) confesses a dilemma to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will also have a big meltdown, but we’ve got an important programming note to pass along before we discuss all the drama.
Due to a scheduled news report, the episode that was originally set to air on Friday, June 25, will be pushed back to Monday, June 28. The ABC soap will air an encore of their Emmy-nominated women’s suffrage movement show instead, but Monday will bring an all-new episode that gets things back on track.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk about the move that was just made against the Corinthos organization. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) need to respond quickly to prove they aren’t as weak as they appear.
When Brick (Stephen A. Smith) shows up to help, he’ll push for a move in retaliation or at least some show of strength.
Carly and Jason will resolve to tie the knot at some point in the coming episodes, so they indeed have a bold response coming up. In the meantime, Nina will feel like she’s stuck in some limbo between fantasy and reality.
Nina won’t know if her home should be Nixon Falls or Port Charles – mainly because the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) issue is so complicated.
Ava could use a distraction from all the stalker mayhem, so she’ll listen to Nina’s problems and offer some advice. If Ava realizes there’s a new guy in the picture, she may think Nina should grab onto happiness if she can.
Ava’s own happiness is slipping away, but she might argue there’s still hope for Nina.
Over with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll mull over how to break the news to Nina that she’s pregnant. Despite Sasha and Nina’s messy history, it’s safe to say Nina will be thrilled for her.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) may reassure Sasha of that once she expresses trepidation about coming clean.
Next, Lucy will flip out and push someone to leave the premises. She’ll be adamant that this person can’t be there, so Lucy will definitely be all worked up! Scott Baldwin will also have a run-in with Austin and find him a little too curious.
It sounds like Scott will view Austin as a nosy interloper, so he’ll question his interest in Port Charles happenings.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) want to help Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) get her baby back – and that’s something Austin wants to do, too.
Austin will suggest he could be of service, so he’ll make Anna and Valentin an offer in Monday’s episode.
Anna ignored her instincts when it came to Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but that was only because he was family and someone Anna wanted to believe in. Peter was Anna’s weak spot, but she’s got great instincts when it comes to everyone else.
Valentin will quiz Anna about her gut feeling on Austin, so she may admit she gets a weird vibe.
Austin may not be evil, but he’s probably not a saint either. There’s always room for gray characters with hidden agendas on GH, so Austin may be one of them. As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll extend support to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in her time of need.
Maxie could stand to talk to someone who isn’t going to interrogate or accuse her, so she’ll appreciate Laura’s sympathy.
Maxie’s just trying to get through this ordeal, make sure Peter’s neutralized and get Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) home where she belongs. We’ll provide updates as other GH details emerge.
General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will have some close calls when it comes to keeping her scheme with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) under wraps, so keep watching. CDL’s the place to be for hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news for you, so check back regularly.
