General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) seems to have his doubts about Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) kidnapping story in the Monday, June 7, General Hospital Sneak Peek. But Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) arrives just in time to advocate for Maxie, and implies that he should back off!
Maxie Jones Is In General Hospital
General Hospital viewers will remember that Maxie was admitted to General Hospital after she collapsed in the presence of Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
Maxie fell right into his arms, and it was determined a little later that she had lost a lot of blood while giving birth.
Maxie has kept her story straight with everyone involved about how the fake nurse Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had hired had kidnapped her, induced labor, and then ran off with the baby after clobbering Dr. Austin (Roger Howarth) with a fireplace poker, rendering him unconscious.
General Hospital viewers will recall it was Austin who delivered Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) out in the woods, but he was out cold for the rest of it.
Crazy “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) had caught up with Maxie and Maxie, with newborn Louise in her arms, ran through the woods and noticed something boarded up that started to give under her.
Maxie then took advantage of that situation and put a couple of large rocks on the boarded up area to make Chloe think it was safe, and manipulated the psycho nurse into running across the boards, where she fell through to the bottom of whatever it was!
Maxie had recorded everything when Peter came looking for her and the baby, including his confession, which she sent to her stepfather Mac Scorpio (John J. York) Chief of Detectives! Now, Dante has to follow up on Maxie’s allegations of baby kidnapping.
Dante Falconeri Visits Maxie Jones At General Hospital –With Questions
Dante visits Maxie in her room at General Hospital, where she apparently had been asleep. She rouses and looks at Dante in the doorway, and apologizes that she had been dreaming and asks him how long he had been there.
Dante tells her he had only just gotten there. Dante then approaches Maxie, who is in bed recovering. Dante tells her he is so sorry to have heard what had happened to her baby.
He then tells her that Mac had played the confession that Maxie had recorded of Peter’s, and sent to Mac but that he has to ask her some questions.
Maxie doesn’t understand why he has to ask her any questions considering she had gotten Peter’s confession recorded, but he tells her that he needs to know what happened to her baby from her lips.
Maxie still seems confused, as Sam McCall does when she happens to walk into the door and overhears Dante’s line of questioning.
Dante doesn’t seem to quite believe Maxie’s story about the kidnapping of Louise, and says he senses that there are things that Maxie is not telling him, like she is hiding something from her.
General Hospital viewers know that she is hiding something, her baby, with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) who has now named Louise “Bailey Lois Quartermaine”.
Maxie protests, asking Dante if he needs this right now, and Sam takes exception to Dante’s questions. Sam implies that he needs to back off, as she can’t believe that Dante sounds like he is blaming Maxie for the kidnapping of her own baby!
