General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, March 15, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) showed up at the Quartermaine gatehouse looking distraught. Chase told Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) he didn’t know where else to turn, so she welcomed him in and gave him a glass of water.
Willow eventually traded that water for wine when she found out Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) slept with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) – and that it meant Finn might be Chase’s father.
Chase wrestled with this information and felt like Finn was beyond self-absorbed for letting Gregory think their issues were his fault. Although Chase was angry with Jackie, he mostly blamed Finn.
Chase eventually decided to visit the hospital, where the DNA results were waiting. Willow offered to go with Chase, so he took her up on it since he wanted her to come but hadn’t wanted to ask.
At GH on Monday’s General Hospital episode, Gregory told Finn and Jackie that nothing would ever be the same now. After Chase arrived with Willow, he insisted Finn should open the DNA test results. Finn opened them, paused for a moment and then admitted he was Chase’s father.
Chase embraced Gregory and promised he was the best dad in the world. Chase assured Gregory that his love for him would never change. On his way out, Chase told Finn that he didn’t care what that piece of paper said. He would never accept Finn as his father.
Over with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) he warned Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to back off Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Peter asked what Jason would do if he didn’t back off, so Jason suggested Peter should try him and find out.
Peter insisted that there was no proof of any wrongdoing, though he invited Anna and Jason to look for some if they wanted.
Once Peter was gone, Jason and Anna indeed did a sweep of Peter’s office. Anna admitted to Jason that he was right, but he didn’t blame her for believing what she wanted to believe.
However, Anna insisted it was worse that Jason realized. She explained how she held back the Eurotech proof that tied Peter to the assassin – and then Peter destroyed it when confronted.
Jason was once again understanding before he eventually admitted he thought Peter killed Franco.
Anna acknowledged that she didn’t think Jason was the killer. Jason discussed his reasons for suspecting Peter before Anna wondered how they could prove the theory.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pushed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to accept a deal that would give him control of ELQ.
All Valentin asked for in return was that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) have visits with her grandson, Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Michael refused to trade his son for a business deal, but Valentin argued that Nina simply made a mistake and was sorry.
Although Michael couldn’t deny that Nina was a warm and caring person, he insisted the time wasn’t right for her to bond with Wiley. They would have a relationship one day, but not right now.
Throughout Michael and Valentin’s conversation, someone lurked behind the trees and bushes outside. Once Valentin was gone, Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) appeared and caught Michael off guard. “Is it safe? Well, is it?” Brook Lynn asked.
At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) showed up with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and a tray of baked ziti. Maxie asked if they’d keep her company since she was boxing up some of Peter’s stuff for the community center.
At Kelly’s, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) comforted Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who talked about getting social media reminders about Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) birthday today.
Later, Sam dropped by Maxie’s place – and listened as Dante gave Maxie hope about the investigations being opened and Peter doing time.
In a moment alone, Sam cornered Dante and admitted she could tell he wasn’t being honest with Maxie. Dante acknowledged that Peter had plenty of time to cover his tracks, so now they just have to wait for him to slip up. Sam noted that Peter would do whatever it took to avoid prison.
After Dante and Olivia took off, Sam promised that Maxie would be all right – and so would her baby. Maxie wondered how Sam could be sure, but Sam insisted so many people were looking out for Maxie.
Although Sam worried about leaving Maxie alone, Maxie said she’d be fine with her sidekick. Sam joked about the baby being Maxie’s “front-kick” instead and left. Next, Peter showed up to see Maxie and left her looking unsettled as he locked the door.
Back at Kelly’s, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) sat down for coffee with Alexis and asked if he could do anything to help her. Olivia flipped out when she saw them together, but Ned begged her not to jump to conclusions.
Once Dante dragged Alexis to another part of the restaurant, Ned took Olivia’s hand – and she promptly yanked it away. That led Ned to acknowledge how badly he screwed up, but he assured Olivia of his love and still hoped for forgiveness.
At Crimson, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) found out about the “real mommy” crisis and couldn’t believe Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had told the truth to a toddler. Nina tried her best to explain, but she worried about blowing her chance to spend time with Wiley.
Ava argued that she had plenty of experience dealing with the Corinthos clan. She felt like Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was the real problem. Ava suggested dividing and conquering would be Nina’s best strategy, so she could perhaps go to Willow and try to make progress first.
Valentin came in eventually and mentioned that he’d had an interesting conversation with Michael. Ava assumed Valentin had no luck since Michael was always “under Mommy’s thumb” – and she didn’t think Valentin was helping by trying to get under Nina’s good graces.
However, Valentin insisted that it wasn’t wise to push Carly since she’d push back twice as hard. He reflected on how he tried to win Nina back with a fake daughter and it backfired.
Valentin felt like sometimes if you’re lucky, you wait and the thing you want will come back to you. Nina looked at Valentin rather fondly, but then smirked soon after.
Back with Dante on Monday’s GH episode, he talked to Alexis about her legal situation. Dante assured Alexis that he didn’t hold what happened against her, but he did want her to examine her life.
Alexis got out of control enough to swing a syringe around with the intent to do bodily harm. Dante argued that if Alexis wasn’t in her right mind, that was for the jury to decide.
We’ll pass along updates as other GH news emerges. General Hospital spoilers say Alexis has a big decision ahead of her, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for sizzling General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so make us your top source.
