General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, November 29, reveals that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) scared Scout Cain (Emma Ramacieri) while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) enraged Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) over Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) also decked Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), so here’s how all the action played out.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) admitted to Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) that Chase wasn’t just a guest or a friend. She insisted he was family before Monica and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) got updates on the new paternity story offscreen.
When Valentin arrived, he was using a toothpick to clean his teeth and talked about Brook Lynn going out with the old and in with the new.
Valentin explained that his agreement with Brook Lynn was nullified since she lied about “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) being his daughter, so he gloated about cementing his position as ELQ’s CEO.
Valentin also revealed that he’d had a taste of the turkey before the dog descended on it, so the Quartermaines were once again facing pizza for their Thanksgiving feast.
After Valentin hurled insults – including one about Brook Lynn having less class than the family dog – Chase declared that was enough and punched Valentin in response.
At Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) place, she embraced Drew and was relieved to see him back home alive.
While Sam and Drew were talking, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) came downstairs with Scout. Drew stooped down to talk to Scout, who shied away and clung to Dante’s leg.
Sam assured Scout there was no need to be scared of her daddy and knew all this had to be confusing for her.
Drew offered a tiny unicorn figurine that broke the ice and left Scout smiling since she collected them. Scout seemed to warm up to Drew a bit as he pointed out they had plenty of time to get to know each other again.
After Scout scampered upstairs, Sam suggested that went well – even if it didn’t seem like it.
Drew ultimately revealed the bad news about Jason’s death and didn’t think there was any way he could’ve survived that tunnel collapse.
Sam thought this was unreal – Scout getting her father back while Danny Morgan (Zakary Risinger) loses his own. Drew noted that he owed his life to Jason the hero, so Sam took some comfort in that.
After Drew left, Dante stuck around to support Sam.
Sam gazed pensively at a picture of Jason with Danny and confessed she had a feeling this day was coming due to Jason’s dangerous lifestyle – though she didn’t think it’d be so soon.
Next, Monica opened the Quartermaine mansion door to find Drew standing there with some pizza boxes. She was floored over Drew’s shocking return home.
At GH, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) acknowledge that they were having a rough time this Thanksgiving. Nina cleared another dinner invite with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), so Phyllis was pleased to be joining in their gathering.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) held Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) in his arms as she hoped to get the Thanksgiving wishbone.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) wondered if Violet had a special wish, so she admitted she had one involving Liz and her daddy. Finn smiled bashfully as he reminded Violet to keep that wish to herself if she wanted it to come true.
Meanwhile, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) talked in circles and frustrated TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) in the hospital chapel. TJ finally managed to pry out of Marshall that he was Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father.
TJ realized Marshall was his grandfather and seemed willing to give him a chance as they shook hands.
Curtis lashed out once he arrived, but Marshall wanted to earn his family’s trust and urged Curtis to let TJ make his own choices.
Later, Curtis admitted he wasn’t in the mood for socializing this Thanksgiving. He pushed TJ to attend dinner with his friends and colleagues, but TJ refused to leave Curtis alone.
Back with Portia, she spread the word about a change of venue before Curtis and TJ headed to The Savoy. Curtis confessed he talked a good game, but he really didn’t want to be alone tonight.
TJ thought that was good and moments later, Curtis was greeted by a crowd of his friends yelling, “Surprise!”
In the Corinthos kitchen, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) showed up to recap what happened on Cassadine Island and broke the news of Jason’s death to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Sonny flung some things across the counter in anger after Anna departed.
At GH again, Carly spotted Britt and pushed her to confirm everyone was safe following their trip.
Carly quickly realized something was wrong regarding Jason and pushed Britt until she got confirmation that Jason was gone.
Carly found out about the tunnel collapse, but she argued that Jason could beat the odds and wanted to go to Greece to save him. However, Britt reiterated that Jason was gone and wasn’t coming back.
Carly snarled that Britt was to blame and admitted she wished Jason had never met Britt.
As Carly stomped off, Britt whispered to herself about wishing that, too. Britt later had a flashback of Jason telling her that the future was an idea, not a guarantee.
Once Carly approached the kitchen door of the Corinthos house, she stopped to cry alone. Sonny saw Carly through the window and looked somber over what they both knew.
Anna also spoke with Valentin over the phone, but he delayed opening up about the latest “Bailey” developments.
Valentin was pleased his “darling” Anna had come home, but she could tell something was wrong since he blew her off until tomorrow.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s demise will continue to make waves, so stay tuned.
