General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, November 29, teases that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) reunion will take a sad turn as news of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) tragedy spreads. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) will also have a special wish as the Thanksgiving festivities continue in Port Charles, so there’s much more to come on the ABC soap.
At home, Sam will breathe a huge sigh of relief over Drew showing up alive and well. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also be glad to see Drew, who’ll explain how Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) helped him deactivate and go up against Peter August (Wes Ramsey) on Cassadine Island.
Sam will know she has to handle the situation with care when it comes to Scout Cain (Ella Ramaceri), but she’ll be glad her daughter is getting her father back. Dante and Sam should get updates on Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) making it home safely as well, but Drew will have to drop a difficult bomb.
GH spoilers say Drew will admit that Jason is believed to be dead in the tunnel rubble, so that’ll no doubt bring some strong emotions for Sam. Part of Sam will always love Jason, so this will hit her hard personally – though her main concern should be for Danny Morgan (Zakaray Rinsinger) now that he’s lost his dad.
Dante’s mind may drift to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and how difficult this loss will be for him, too. Speaking of Sonny, he’ll be tickled pink over an unexpected Thanksgiving visitor. It doesn’t look like it’ll be Drew just yet, but Sonny will welcome someone and remain oblivious to the somber Jason developments for now.
As for Carly, she’ll grow concerned when she finds Britt alone at the hospital. Carly will seek reassurance that everyone made it back from Cassadine Island safely, but Britt clearly can’t give Carly what she’s asking for.
Carly will eventually have to face the tough blow of knowing Jason is dead and gone, but we might see a distraction pop up that delays the inevitable. Regardless, Carly should have some harsh words for Britt when she plays the blame game by midweek.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will face Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) anger and worry that perhaps he should leave. However, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will encourage Ned to be more accepting and will continue to reveal her latest “baby daddy” shocker.
Once Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) appear, Brook Lynn will confess that Chase is a lot more than a guest or even a friend. She’ll declare that Chase is family and move full-speed ahead with the lie about him being the father of “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
It looks like Chase may enjoy a cute moment with Brook Lynn and “Bailey,” so Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will suggest this is all very quaint. He’ll make sarcastic comments and take jabs at the picturesque new family, but he’ll feel like he’s getting the last laugh at ELQ.
Brook Lynn will learn that her agreement with Valentin has been nullified, so her plans for those shares will go up in smoke. Although Brook Lynn will protest, it serves her right for letting Valentin fall in love with “Bailey” and pretending he was her bio dad all this time.
“Bailey” is actually Louise August, which means Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) are her true parents. Chase and Brook Lynn will remain committed to keeping Louise safe no matter what, so they’ll just have to deal with whatever consequences come their way.
Back at the hospital, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will tell TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) that he’s Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father. TJ will be confused as Marshall tries to explain how he’s not dead after all, but Curtis will blow in and put a stop to the conversation. He’ll think Marshall is completely out of line for blabbing to EJ like this.
TJ will fret over Curtis speaking with Marshall on his own, but Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) may think that’s for the best since the two of them have so much to sort out. She knows Curtis can handle himself and may advise against intruding.
Portia will host a little Thanksgiving gathering later, so we’ll see if Curtis puts the drama on hold and makes it to dinner. As for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), they’ll trade confessions – perhaps over missing the way things were in Nixon Falls.
Finally, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will inquire about a special wish Violet has for the holiday. Violet seems awfully curious about her other grandpa, so this could lead to another awkward chat about Jeff Webber (Richard Dean Anderson) if Violet wishes she could see him for Thanksgiving.
Of course, Violet could also bring up her baby sibling wish and set the stage for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to confide the new baby cousin news to Liz. Either way, Finn may end up having an uncomfortable discussion!
