General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 18, teases that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) agent trick will fail while Peter August (Wes Ramsey) escapes death. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will also take Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) orders, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
At the tavern in Greece, Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will discuss their mission to find Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Dante and Sam will agree they need to get to Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) compound before things head any further south.
Unfortunately, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will get in the way of that plan.
Robert and Anna will think it’s best if it’s just the two of them, so Sam and Dante will be stymied.
Anna will recruit a WSB agent to essentially babysit Sam and Dante at the tavern. She’ll hate that it’s come to this, but Dante and Sam will leave her no choice since she can’t trust them to stay away.
GH spoilers say Sam will even try to trick this agent. She’ll act like she needs to head to the restroom, so the guy will insist on calling backup to escort her.
Sam’s attempt to sneak off alone will be thwarted, so she’ll have to try another angle with Dante’s help.
Sam and Dante will hope to tug at the agent’s heartstrings using the story of young Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri), who only knows her father through pictures at this point.
Dante will wonder if following procedure is really more important than family – and Sam will beg for help reuniting her daughter with her dad.
Whether this agent caves or not, Sam and Dante will indeed make it to the compound soon. In the meantime, Drew will seek Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) advice on how to override his programming if that’s possible.
Drew will be desperate to defeat Peter, so we’ll see if Obrecht has any pointers.
As for Peter, he’ll work to talk his way out of trouble. Victor will instruct his guards to kill Peter, who’ll argue that he’s making a big mistake.
There might be some conditioning loophole that makes it so only the person who gave the activation order can control Drew.
Whatever the case, Peter will live another day and will keep up his menacing ways.
Over with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), he’ll come through for Jason. Spinelli will offer up critical info that confirms something Jason already suspected.
Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will meet with Scott, who’ll learn he’ll be leading the charge to locate Liesl.
Scott will become an important part of the search squad somehow – though it looks like Britt and Jason will travel to Greece without him when the time comes.
Next, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will spend some time flirting with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at The Savoy). Portia will share a playful admission, but the conversation will deepen as the night progresses.
Curtis will open up about some memories that are perhaps rather painful and shed some light on his history.
General Hospital spoilers say a mysterious man will pop up in Port Charles within the next couple episodes – and he’ll be quite interested in Curtis as well as Portia.
