General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, October 25, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) attacked Russell (Josh Murray) and saved hostage Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) learned a big secret about “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). Let’s talk about how things played out on Monday’s thrilling GH episode.
At the PCPD, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) brought Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to help recently arrested Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Scott argued that the quicker Nina was extradited to Pennsylvania, the better off she’d be.
Scott felt it was a good idea to get Nina away from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) influence and argued that he could get her out on bail there.
Ava pushed Nina to listen to Scott since he was a real shark. She also suggested that if Sonny had turned on Nina, she could use their secret romance as leverage.
Ava added that if it was Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) who was behind her arrest, then Nina could turn on the waterworks and stir up Sonny’s old feelings for her.
While Michael and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) argued about whether Nina had suffered enough, Sonny asked Carly if she had Nina arrested.
After Carly denied any involvement, Sonny talked about all the people he helped in Nixon Falls with Nina. Carly didn’t like hearing about Sonny and Nina as a “we,” but Sonny did his best to downplay it.
In the courtroom later, Michael piped up about Nina only having herself to blame as she realized he was behind her arrest. Ava once again told Nina she had an ace in the hole if she needed it.
Once Scott told the judge that Nina was ready to be extradited, Nina was handcuffed and led away. Sonny didn’t look pleased over what he’d just witnessed.
At the U.S. Consulate’s medical facility, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had a nightmare about Peter August (Wes Ramsey) going after his daughters.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) reassured Valentin once he awoke and encouraged him to fantasize about getting his revenge on Peter instead.
Anna mentioned how she thought she’d never get a chance to tell Valentin something and seemed poised to profess her love, but she ultimately backed out of the idea.
Anna acted like she wouldn’t have known what to say to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) if he hadn’t pulled through.
While Anna and Valentin shared a warm moment, Gladys caused trouble back in Port Charles. She schemed for a fancy lunch by confusing everyone about who was behind their latest Deception meeting plans.
Gladys pushed Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) buttons by acting like she wasn’t a good mom. She pointed out that Brook Lynn didn’t even seem to remember she had a kid when they first met!
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) dragged Gladys away to give her a gentle lecture – and it was mentioned that Gladys takes notes through her phone recorder, which was still recording on the table while Brook Lynn and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) talked.
Brook Lynn eventually took a call from Anna, who put Valentin on the line. Valentin wanted to talk to “Bailey,” but he found out she wasn’t close by. He still wanted Bailey to know “Daddy” was thinking of her.
After Anna got back on the phone and offered updates on Valentin’s ordeal, Brook Lynn turned her attention back to Maxie. BLQ admitted she dreaded the day Valentin learned “Bailey” wasn’t his daughter.
Gladys’ phone recorded everything – and once she was alone later, she got quite a shock when she listened and heard what Brook Lynn confessed.
At the taverna in Crete, Russell cornered Britt while Jason was outside trying to get cell service.
Britt pushed Russell to let him take care of the gunshot wound on his leg, but he wanted to take Britt as his hostage since a ferry was about to leave. He felt Britt could be his ticket out.
Jason ultimately attacked Russell from behind, so Britt gave him medical attention once he was down on the ground. Britt and Jason found out from Russell that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was on Cassadine Island, so they decided to make that their next stop.
Meanwhile, the bartender called Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) to alert him.
