General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 4, teases that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be banished and broke after Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) fury is unleashed. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also defend Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) motives, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
In the Corinthos living room, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will bring Sonny up to speed on what she’s learned about Nina.
Carly will insist that she knows Nina found out Sonny was alive and kept quiet for months. She’ll also think she knows why, but she won’t have it exactly right.
Carly may argue this was about revenge – and it indeed started out that way.
However, Sonny realizes things got out of hand and became complicated due to Nina’s feelings. Nina and Sonny fell in love, though Sonny considers that an illusion since he was “Mike” at the time.
Sonny obviously won’t condone what Nina did, but he’ll defend her motives somewhat and perhaps leave Carly confused. Like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Carly may feel like Sonny should be angrier about all this.
Sonny will feel like Nina’s paying a steep enough price for her actions, but Carly will think her rival got off easy. Of course, Sonny will have to address the love aspect of all this eventually. It’s just a matter of when the bomb will drop!
Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), they’ll reel over Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) updates.
Josslyn will spill the Nixon Falls story and insist Nina’s the reason they were all grieving for so many months.
Willow will find it hard to believe Nina would do such a thing, but Josslyn will assure her that it’s true. This means Michael and Willow will have to decide what to do about Nina’s visits with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends).
They can either punish Nina or put Wiley’s love for his grandma first, but there’s a good chance they’ll want Nina kept away for now.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will be blown away when he finds out about Nina’s Sonny deception. Nina will understand if this means they can’t be friends any longer, but Curtis may think that’s extreme.
Curtis nearly lost Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) not too long ago, so he hopefully knows better than to cut someone out of his life he’d miss.
At Wyndemere, Spencer will have to confess to Ava next. She’ll be furious over Spencer posing as the stalker and forcing her to nearly uproot her whole life – especially since she’s been forced to keep Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) at a distance.
Ava will be curious what prompted Spencer to come clean after all this time, so he may admit Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn’s trap set it in motion.
After Ava lashes out and realizes Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) played a role in her turmoil, she’ll no doubt want to thank Trina for helping expose the hoodlums.
GH spoilers say Spencer will beg for forgiveness, but Nikolas will practically disown him instead. He’ll cut Spencer off financially and make it clear that Spencer needs to leave the premises immediately.
Spencer will no longer be welcome at Wyndemere, so he’ll fly into a rage and declare war on his father.
After Esme has an intriguing chat with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) at Spring Ridge, she’ll spend some time celebrating at The Savoy.
Alas, Spencer may call with the news of his confession and put some of the blame on Esme for lying to Sonny.
Since Spencer claimed Esme was only helping out of loyalty to him, he’ll think his girlfriend owes him for covering.
Trina will also have a chance to blast Esme along with Josslyn and Cameron, but Esme may still feel like the winner here since she’s getting off scot-free – at least for now.
Spencer will worry Trina’s going to hate him now, but she’ll end up responding with compassion. Despite Spencer’s many mistakes, Trina will still feel like he has a good heart.
In Monte Carlo, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will follow up on a new lead. There’ll be a casino involved in the con Dante and Sam are about to run together.
It seems splashing Dante with a drink will become part of the plan, so Sam will pretend to be offended and trust that Dante won’t mind getting wet!
General Hospital spoilers say Dante will console Sam when their plot takes a wrong turn soon, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH.
