General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, September 20, teases that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) sneaky move will pay off while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) vows to shoot Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also decide to rush home immediately, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
At the reception, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will remain in wedding planner mode. She’ll feel like it’s her responsibility to keep things moving right along, but there’ll be a problem since the bride and groom will be missing.
Maxie will vent to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), who may insist Jason and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be there soon.
While Maxie waits, she’ll have a nice bonding moment with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and perhaps try to lift his spirits over his failed marriage.
As for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll let Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) know he lives up to the best man title in more ways than one.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will also squeeze in some time together – though thinking about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) could kill the fun vibe.
Next, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will lash out at Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Ned hasn’t told Olivia the whole truth about something, so she’ll rip into him – especially if this relates to Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) and his communication problems.
Of course, Olivia could also find out something that ties in with all the ELQ drama. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will take a break from worrying about her crazy family and all the company chaos.
Instead, Brook Lynn will spend Monday’s episode catching up with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who’ll have a present he wants to pass along.
Chase will insist the gift’s for Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) since he’ll want to thank her for her hospitality.
Now that Chase is back at his own apartment, Brook Lynn will want some updates on his condition.
Chase will assure Brook Lynn that he’s almost at 100 percent, but he’ll hint that holding “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) would help.
Chase will indeed take “Bailey” in his arms – and that’s when he’ll notice something peculiar. Brook Lynn will be nervous when Chase doesn’t think “Bailey” looks like Brook Lynn or even Valentin.
Chase just won’t see any family resemblance at all, but he may shrug it off since he doesn’t look much like his brother, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), either.
Sometimes genetics can be weird, but there’s more going on here since “Bailey” is actually Louise – whose true parents are Maxie and Peter.
As for Chase, he’ll reflect on a time he wouldn’t trade for anything.
Chase may be grateful that he was able to bond with Brook Lynn and “Bailey” while he recovered – or maybe Chase will admit he’ll forever be thankful for his early relationship with Willow.
Back at the reception, Spinelli will tell Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) about the explosion that just happened outside of All Saints.
There’ll understandably be some concerns about Carly and Jason, but the newlyweds will ultimately show up alive and well.
It’s Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) and Mr. Charles Buscema (Burt Tangredi) who must’ve gone splat outside the chapel instead.
Mr. Buscema and Vincent paid a steep price for thinking they could take down Jason and Carly following their nuptials.
The mob bosses undoubtedly landed in the car with the bomb underneath, so hopefully this will send a bold message from the Corinthos clan to their enemies.
Once Brando hears all the details, he’ll be relieved that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) escaped danger.
Brando may point out that Gladys could’ve been in that car if things had gone differently.
Brando will just want his mom to stay safe, so he may beg Gladys to steer clear of any mob dates from now on.
At the clinic in Nixon Falls, Sonny will refuse to let anyone or anything stop his Port Charles comeback. He’ll ignore his doctors as well as Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so it won’t be long until Sonny’s headed for PC.
Nina will eventually turn her attention to Valentin and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so they’ll fly into a rage over the secrets she kept about Peter.
Afterward, Anna and Valentin will carry out separate searches for Peter in hopes of covering as much of the area as quickly as possible
Valentin will plan to shoot Peter on sight if he gets the chance, but it’ll be Anna who first finds Peter within the next couple episodes.
