General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some new Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) clues will surface soon. Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) search for Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) could lead to Peter’s victim being found alive depending on how this plays out. Let’s consider how a couple of storylines might collide.
A trip to New York City is coming up for Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
They’ll keep doing everything in their power to find Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby, so they still won’t realize Louise is living in Port Charles as “Bailey Quartermaine.”
Even so, Anna will want to leave no stone unturned in this fight to reunite Maxie with her child.
As part of Anna’s efforts, it looks like she’ll score a meeting with the pilot Peter arranged to pick him up on the GH rooftop.
Peter’s plan didn’t work out, but David Hopkins was indeed employed by Peter along with his sister, Marie Hopkins – who pretended to be Nurse Chloe Jennings.
Anna will want to put David through a bit of an interrogation, so this presents some intriguing opportunities.
Aside from revealing info regarding Peter & Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) rooftop showdown, there could be other secrets to spill.
Of course, it’s not like David could realistically point Anna to any info that’d connect the Louise and “Bailey” dots.
David isn’t the key to cracking the Louise case, but could he be the key to cracking the Drew Cain case instead?
Perhaps David knows something about Peter’s other shady activities and employees. After all, Peter was David’s boss!
It’s possible David is in the loop on info related to Drew’s plane crash. That’s especially true if David was friends with a fellow hired pilot who was forced to take the plane down.
David might be able to divulge something that points to Drew’s survival or location.
Since it appears Drew’s stuck in a foreign prison based on the latest leaks, he’s probably going to need someone to break him out of there.
Anna has been beating herself up over her Peter mistakes, but freeing Drew and bringing him back to Port Charles might help her make amends for letting herself get duped.
Even if Anna doesn’t learn all she needs to know in her initial meeting with David, there could be a follow-up meeting eventually that reveals more.
We know Cameron Mathison is set to make his debut as a Drew Cain recast down the road. Since Anna let Peter pull the wool over her eyes, it makes sense that she might help undo some of the damage she contributed to.
Will Anna stumble across a new case – one that reveals Drew’s alive and leads her to where he’s being held as a prisoner?
