General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a New Year’s Eve preview points to some surprise kisses, lucky breaks and crushing setbacks. There’ll be some thrilled Port Charles residents along with some disappointed ones, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
GH will air a special New Year’s Eve episode on Thursday, December 30, so we know what the end of the year’s going to look like in PC.
For starters, The Savoy will be the big hotspot. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has opened a nightclub that’s gained a following and is starting to really thrive.
That’s why The Savoy will serve as THE place to be as 2021 winds down. Of course, that brings the potential for some awkward encounters and shocking discoveries.
There are hints that suggest some characters may see things they shouldn’t see, so some close moments will be witnessed along the way.
In the meantime, Curtis will grow closer to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) as they toast to fresh starts. Since Marshall Ashford (Donnell Turner) will start putting in the work to prove himself, he might even inch toward a new beginning with his son.
However, things will remain complicated due to the secrets Marshall’s been keeping with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). Speaking of complicated, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) love life will be a real mess by then.
After Sonny defends Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on the stand at her preliminary hearing and potentially admits his love for her in Nixon Falls, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) isn’t going to be happy.
There’s pretty much no chance of Sonny and Carly making amends by New Year’s Eve, so they may end up spending it alone – or worse, with other people. Could Sonny and Nina share a forbidden kiss to cap off the year?
It’s worth considering the idea since GH spoilers say NYE will be a night of undeniable chemistry and changing plans.
That changing plans part may not go over well with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will bail on him at the last minute.
If Joss and Cam have another attempt at lovemaking scheduled, that could leave Cameron feeling angry, hurt and rejected when it doesn’t happen.
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is bound to pounce and use Josslyn’s decision to ditch Cameron to her advantage, so dangerous trouble is brewing.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will hope for a better year ahead. Since 2021 was a rough one for Alexis, she’ll think things can only go up from here!
Alexis will contemplate her future on New Year’s Eve, so that could involve her new career path and the possibility of new love.
