General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some big twists are brewing. During the week of April 12-16, a buried secret will become the topic of conversation.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be trying to help Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) see things Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) way when he delivers a shocker.
Taggert will admit that he knows Portia cheated on him. He’ll add that he’s pretty sure it was with Curtis, so Portia won’t really know what to say. Portia indeed betrayed Taggert with Curtis all those years ago, but she may feel like it’s ancient history by now.
Taggert, on the other hand, may get the feeling that what was old could become new again. He might call Portia out on her feelings for Curtis, who’ll be busy tackling a tough task with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
It looks like Curtis and Jordan will settle on divorce as their only way forward.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Elijah Crowe (Dan White) will turn on the phony charm and try to pry info out of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Of course, Elijah may already have some info to taunt Nina with by now. He knows Nina runs the show at Crimson and may have found out some other details of her past.
Will Elijah figure out Nina’s connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? More importantly, will Elijah figure out who “Mike” really is – and if so, how will Elijah use that shocker?
Whatever the case, Sonny will deal with some suspicions in the week ahead. Those suspicions could be about whatever angle Elijah’s working with Nina.
Sonny has already become protective of Nina, so he won’t want Elijah causing any trouble for her or the Caulfields. Look for Nina to get a call from Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that complicates things as well.
Back in Port Charles, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will put a risky plot in motion. Thanks to Nikolas’ hummingbird cake clue, he should be able to nail down where the bakery took that cake and pinpoint exactly where Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is.
General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will take a gamble with his new scheme, which could prove disastrous whether it’s a success or a failure. Success would mean the Corinthos clan loses their leverage – and failure could mean Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) becomes a prison target.
Alexis’ safety is Nikolas’ priority right now, so he’ll do whatever he can to keep his aunt safe. In the meantime, Alexis will get to know her new cellmate. Maggie (Sydney Walsh) will lend a sympathetic ear as Alexis opens up about why she’s at Pentonville and what she wants her future to look like.
As for Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll be captive in the basement when he reveals that he’s targeted somebody Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) loves. That person will die if Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) don’t do what they’re told.
Peter will assume his poison plan targeted Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but the lazy Susan twirling means the tainted cup could’ve gone to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) or Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).
Gregory or Chase would be the most likely poison drinker, but stay tuned to see which one got the unlucky mug. This will launch a medical ordeal for someone and perhaps force Anna to do whatever Peter says – especially if an antidote’s involved.
During the week of April 19-23, Cyrus will provoke Curtis. There’ll be some tense moments as Cyrus gets under Curtis’ skin and perhaps tries to get something he wants.
Over with Jax, he’ll have a case of bad timing and will create issues for someone. Back with Finn, he’ll unleash his anger and perhaps plan to fight back. Finn will be in the clear when it comes to the poisoning, but he’ll be furious over a family member getting his tainted mug by mistake.
Other GH spoilers say Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will push Cameron Webber (William Lipton) to see that Peter is guilty, not Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Will Scott make any progress with Cameron?
Could we see Cam shift his vengeful desires to Peter and push even harder for some form of punishment.
Across town, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will realize she needs some help. Will Brook Lynn get in touch with Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) or perhaps Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)?
Brook Lynn’s fake baby plot will hit some snags, but the timing will work out well.
Brook Lynn seems poised to keep Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) daughter safe once it’s time for Baby Lou’s birth. General Hospital spoilers say a wild scheme like this will come with complex consequences, but Brook Lynn will keep up her efforts to get ELQ control back.
Brook Lynn will eventually be able to do this good deed for the baby’s sake, but we’ll see when Britt and Maxie will make the big pitch. As other GH news pops up, we’ll offer updates.
General Hospital spoilers say some gripping drama’s ahead over the next two weeks, April 12-23, so stay tuned to watch several PC residents crack under pressure. CDL will have other terrific General Hospital spoilers, updates and news for you, so stop by often.
