General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 23 through September 3, tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will ponder some new Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) clues while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) get steamy on their first official date. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) vanishing act will also worry Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), so here’s what fans can expect.
During the week of August 23-27, things will get messy in Nixon Falls. Nina will deal with the arrival of a familiar face – and viewers know that familiar face is Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) since she just showed up.
However, there are separate GH spoilers about another unwelcome Nixon Falls arrival. A second visitor will enter the picture, so that could be Ava Jerome (Maura West) since she recently decided she had to leave Port Charles.
There might be some comical situation where Nina gets rid of Maxie only to have Ava show up and cause yet another crisis.
Regardless, another familiar face besides Maxie will become part of the story – and we know Sonny will make an intriguing acquaintance at The Tan-O.
Once Maxie makes it back to Port Charles, she’ll struggle when she sees “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Maxie will also find Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) while she’s planning her wedding, so that could bring an interesting conversation about Maxie’s time in Nixon Falls.
Over with Britt and Liesl, they’ll find a reason to celebrate while Nina feels cornered. Afterward, Nina will make a phone call and try to score some help.
It turns out Nina will rely on Liesl to clean up some messes for her, so this could involve Maxie and Ava.
However, the situation will take another shocking turn when Obrecht goes missing during the week of August 30-September 3.
That’ll leave Britt on the hunt for her mom and deeply worried about what might’ve happened to her.
This will become quite the kidnapping crisis – and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will get tangled up in the drama as well.
As Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gear up for their wedding, Jason will have a bachelor party that comes with an unwanted guest.
Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) will crash the bash and make trouble, so Jason will deal with it as best as he can.
In an effort to help Sam, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will pass along the file on Drew’s plane crash.
After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) gets that file from Anna, he’ll discuss its contents with Sam and give her some new clues to mull over.
In Nixon Falls, Nina will apparently be satisfied that the situation’s under control back in Port Charles. She’ll enjoy her first official date with Sonny – and their spark will turn into a roaring flame.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Nina and Sonny finally surrendered to temptation in the bedroom.
As for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), he’ll end up quizzing Ava about Nina’s love life.
Ava currently knows Nina’s interested in a bartender named “Mike,” but she could know a lot more by the time Jax grills her!
If Ava finds out Sonny’s alive and keeps quiet, it could bring all kinds of problems.
Back with Sam, she’ll fill Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in on everything she’s been able to find about Drew so far.
Carly will also fret over Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) aligning with one of the five families and will wind up turning to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) for assistance.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will face a curveball she isn’t ready for soon after, so she may go into labor.
There’s even a camping trip coming up for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so fans have plenty to look forward to!
