General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could have a good reason to go back on his deal with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). GH fans can expect a tense faceoff as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) tries to talk Nikolas out of the dangerous move he’s making.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is willing to support her husband, but she certainly wouldn’t mind if he bowed out of the deal either.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also be part of this confrontation and will try a couple different tactics to make Nikolas do what she wants.
Stealing Nikolas back for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could mean walking into a trap and could leave Nikolas doing Cyrus’ bidding for who knows how long.
Carly’s angry meltdown will turn to a tearful plea eventually. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will get emotional and will beg Nikolas not to leave her family vulnerable by removing her leverage like this.
However, Nikolas will be ready to pounce since he’s got the address and Colonel Jackson is closing in with his security team.
It’ll seem like there’s nothing that can stop Nikolas from snatching Cyrus’ mom and returning her, but maybe there’s indeed something that could be a game-changer.
Nikolas got assurance that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) would be protected at Pentonville. That’s the whole point of this deal. Nikolas even mentioned how it’d take a little time before he could find Florence and get her back to Cyrus.
Although Cyrus warned Nikolas not to test his patience, it was understood that Nikolas would have a reasonable window of time. What happens when Nikolas gets updates on the dangerous trouble Alexis has already landed in at Pentonville?
Nikolas probably has eyes and ears that’ll report back to him with news about Hilda attacking Alexis. That’s especially true if Alexis is badly beaten or shivved before landing in the infirmary.
Nikolas might get a call about that and see that Cyrus can’t guarantee Alexis’ protection at all and may have no intention of providing it. He may even worry that Cyrus did this to send some sort of message to speed for Florence hunt along.
Regardless, Alexis’ attack could be what stops Nikolas from returning Florence in the end. Will Nikolas be furious over that attack and blame Cyrus for either ordering it or at least not stopping it?
Will Nikolas call off the deal and make a fierce enemy out of Cyrus?
