General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will have a heated encounter. Of course, that means we have to ask some important questions. Why will Nikolas and Cyrus be on each other’s bad side?
Are they already secretly connected or will this be related to Cyrus’ attempt at a sibling bond with Laura Collins (Genie Francis)?
During the week of April 5-9, General Hospital spoilers say Laura will reject Cyrus’ offer. She won’t want to have any kind of genuine sibling relationship with a guy like him, which is what Cyrus will be looking for. Soon after, Cyrus and Nikolas will get into a fierce argument.
It could be that Nikolas will simply rush to his mother’s defense and urge Cyrus to back off. However, it’s worth mentioning that GH writers hinted at a possible connection between Nikolas and Cyrus once upon a time.
Nikolas was quite rattled about Cyrus’ initial release from prison and seemed cagey about the extent of his reasons.
There’s a chance General Hospital will finally follow up on that if a secret link between Cyrus and Nikolas is revealed. Nevertheless, it’s also possible that Nikolas and Cyrus will become surprising allies moving forward.
Cyrus might even be impressed with the way Nikolas goes to bat for Laura. Since Cyrus always fights for his own mother, he might push Nikolas to see that they aren’t so different.
Right after this fight breaks out between Nikolas and Cyrus, they’ll get honest with each other. There’ll be a frank discussion that could change things between Cyrus and Nikolas.
Later, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will do her best to change Nikolas’ mind. Since Ava wouldn’t want an alliance forming between this baddie and her husband, she might object to any partnership – whether it be new or a revived one.
Even so, Nikolas might determine that someone like Cyrus could be useful right about now. Ava and Nikolas are facing an unknown threat that’s about to rev up through a series of increasingly disturbing gifts.
As those presents become more morbid, Nikolas will fear this threat could be deadly and will take drastic steps to protect Ava. Working with Cyrus could be one of those drastic steps!
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Ava will get updates on a decision of Nikolas’ that she doesn’t like. There’s the potential for Cyrus to be involved here based on all the clues, so we’ll pass along news as other GH details emerge.
