General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may order a hit on newly freed Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore). Will Nikolas make a panicked move to hide the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) shooting secret? Let’s look at what we know so far.
During the week of July 19-23, things will be looking up for Shawn. GH spoilers say Shawn will be relieved over a lucky break.
It looks like freedom is just around the corner thanks to Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) recent plot.
After Shawn’s luck turns around, Nikolas will start freaking out – though he’ll try not to show it! We’ll see Nikolas approach Jordan with plenty of questions, but he’ll have to be careful or else he’ll stir up suspicions as a result.
Nikolas may play it like he’s happy for Shawn and curious about where things stand for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). However, Nikolas will definitely be in panic mode at this point.
Nikolas will worry that Shawn’s freedom will put him dangerously close to the truth, which is that Nikolas arranged for Hayden to be shot.
Since Nikolas has obviously hired hits before, he just might do it again!
General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will refuse to let this secret come out and destroy his life. There’s a lot at stake now that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is home and ready to reconnect.
Nikolas won’t want to get thrown in prison, where he’d be separated from his son and lose any hope of reuniting with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) down the road.
We’ll see Nikolas resolve to do whatever it takes to keep the Hayden truth under wraps.
Of course, doing whatever it takes could mean taking fatal action.
Will that be Nikolas’ last resort strategy? Could Nikolas sink as low as to plot Shawn’s murder and try to keep his previous Hayden plot quiet?
Regardless, it certainly sounds like the tactic Nikolas chooses is going to be a risky one, so we wouldn’t put it past him to hire a hit on Shawn.
