General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will realize she can still keep Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) secret if she tries hard enough.
The first thing Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) says upon awakening will be Sonny’s name, but Nina will think fast and suggest Sonny was all in Jax’s head.
Nina will act like Jax wasn’t in his right mind since he’d just passed out following a gunshot wound. That’ll satisfy Jax for now, so it won’t be long until Nina makes sure he’s patched up and sent on his way!
There’ll be a close call or two with Sonny at the clinic, but Nina will manage to avert that crisis, too.
Although Nina still has feelings for Jax on some level, she’s growing closer to “Mike” and is considering a much different future. Nina is obviously falling for this new version of Sonny, so she’ll inch closer to a real romance with him.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina will consider a major life change during May sweeps. She may contemplate making her time away from Port Charles permanent, but moving to Nixon Falls is risky.
Could Nina make a pitch to Sonny about starting fresh somewhere else? After all, that would solve a lot of issues for Nina and even Sonny.
Nina will certainly worry about the possibility of Jax coming around again – or worse, sending someone like Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in the direction of Nixon Falls. It seems too risky to hang around there with Sonny at this point.
Of course, Nixon Falls is also a pretty dangerous place these days. There have been plenty of robberies in the area, including some at The Tan-O and the firehouse dance.
With growing vandalism problems and armed thieves running around, Nina might have a strong case for why Sonny should leave with her.
Maybe Nina will make a heartfelt plea about her feelings for Sonny and insist they should just focus on a new future together. Nina might suggest they could go anywhere in the world for this new beginning, but “Mike” would probably turn down the chance to leave Nixon Falls.
Sonny feels like he owes Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), so he won’t want to bail on them – especially not with shady Elijah Crowe (Dan White) lurking around.
Although Sonny may admit he’s tempted to just run away with Nina and leave everything behind, GH fans know he feels a sense of loyalty here. That goes for his loyalty to the Caulfields and the town itself.
Nina may be out of luck if she wants to move away from Nixon Falls with Sonny. She’ll have to figure out if she’s going to leave “Mike” behind or stay there and press her luck. General Hospital spoilers suggest it’ll be the latter, so Nina will set herself up for more trouble!
Now that Jax knows where Nina is and will have this “imagined” Sonny sighting in the back of his mind, it could set the stage for disaster down the road. We’ll offer updates as other GH news becomes available.
