General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) needs redemption. Not just any redemption story, though. It has to be something so big that it will earn her forgiveness from the entire Corinthos family. It’s possible that it has to do with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends).
Peter’s Blackmail and Arson
GH spoilers reveal that Peter stalked Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), which led to the villain finding Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls.
Living his new life as amnesiac “Mike,” Peter forced Nina to explain what was going on. Nina was desperate to keep Sonny’s identity a secret and continue her fantasy life.
Peter blackmailed Nina and although she tried to get rid of Peter, the entire plan backfired. Not only did it lead to the current situation on Cassadine Island, but both Nina and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) nearly burned to death.
GH Spoilers: A Child for a Child
At the time, Peter wanted Louise “Lou” August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). Peter is unaware that Lou is being played off as Bailey Quartermaine, but will probably find out at some point. Peter also threatened to take another one of Maxie’s children and said “a child for a child.”
Targeting Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos
It’s possible that Peter could target Nina’s grandson, Wiley. General Hospital spoilers suggest if Peter finds out that Bailey is really Lou and Nina knew about it, he will want her to suffer.
The only person that Nina has left in the world is Wiley – despite her being banned from the child’s life right now.
General Hospital Spoilers: Epic Redemption Story
On June 27, 2021, Maurice Benard had quite the discussion with fans on Mike and Nina’s Nixon Falls story.
One fan said on Twitter that the story would have been better if “Mike” fell for a stranger.
The actor teased the payoff would not be as large and included an explosive emoji. Then, he hinted that Nina has a major redemption story coming up.
Considering how much the Corinthos family hates her, Nina’s redemption would have to be massive.
Saving Wiley from Peter and nearly dying in the process would certainly earn her a place back in Wiley’s life. It would also compel Carly to treat Nina a bit differently.
Carly might always hate Nina on a certain level, but would be grateful and possibly even civil.
We will have to keep watching to see what happens with Nina’s redemption and how it will get her back in Wiley’s life.
