General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview for the week of November 17-19 teases that we’ll see Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) botched escape – and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will cry in shock. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also go through a nightmare birth, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, things will head south quickly on Cassadine Island.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will be prepared to kill Peter August (Wes Ramsey) if they get the chance, but Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) activation will make another mess.
Jason has the deactivation tarot card and knows the “stand down” phrase that can snap Drew back to reality. Of course, it’s a little hard to flash a card in someone’s face when you’re fighting for your life!
After Jason attacks the guard and flees the basement, he’ll wind up in a heated showdown with activated Drew upstairs. Drew will put Jason in a chokehold as Britt watches in horror nearby.
The show’s promo promises the week will end with a bang, but what does that mean exactly?
It’s tough to believe Jason will simply get shot dead in that room, so he may be able to deactivate Drew and take the next escape step with Britt.
Even if Jason faces a gunshot wound, he should keep fighting with everything he’s got.
That could perhaps put Jason outside for a final faceoff with Peter that ends in his presumed death – potentially in the water below a cliff.
The people remaining on Cassadine Island will anxiously await news in upcoming episodes, so that could point to a search-and rescue effort that doesn’t end well for Jason.
Whatever the case, Carly will have tears in her eyes back in Port Charles. Will that be due to a phone call about Jason or something Carly learns from Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) instead?
Carly will cry as she faces Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so we’ll see if this involves Jason’s terrible predicament or Sonny’s Nixon Falls romance with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Either way, some emotional moments are brewing for Carly.
In the meantime, Sasha will manage to get out of the gallery’s backroom with Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) help. Although Sasha will give birth at GH, she’ll be in extreme pain and could face some complications.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will chase after missing Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda).
That’ll leave Olivia and Ned searching out in the darkness just before the situation takes an even scarier turn.
While Ned and Olivia leap into action to save Leo, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will continue to ponder how things just don’t add up.
Chase won’t get why Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) still seems to be lying about both “Bailey Quartermaine” and Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
Chase is on the verge of figuring out that Louise and “Bailey” are the same baby, so he’ll be up for fake “baby daddy” duty soon enough.
Nevertheless, Brook Lynn will have to face the music when it comes to lying to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Brook Lynn will get backed into a corner, so Valentin should unleash his wrath over Brook Lynn’s daughter deception.
