General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has a new enemy in Port Charles. He just doesn’t know it yet! GH viewers were recently treated to a fun reunion between Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Once Britt learned her mother had scored her freedom, she wondered why Liesl was sneaking around town if she was innocent.
That led to Liesl insisting she was on a mission to protect Britt, so Britt asked if Liesl meant from Cyrus. “Who is Cyrus?” Liesl quickly replied. It felt like a significant moment that’ll ultimately set up some showdowns between Obrecht and the powerful drug kingpin.
Liesl corrected Britt about her true mission, which involves protecting Britt from her “treacherous brother” instead. Obrecht wants Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to go down for framing her, but she also wants to protect her loved ones.
However, Liesl circled back to Cyrus by the end of the conversation – once again indicating that Cyrus and Obrecht are going to have issues sooner or later.
Britt assured Liesl that she could handle Cyrus, but we highly doubt that! Now that Britt has teamed up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), she’s poised to land in some serious trouble.
There’s no one Cyrus hates more than Jason at the moment since Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) stole Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) and Jason is taking the blame for it.
General Hospital spoilers say Britt and Jason will clash over strategies as their alliance gets more complicated. This partnership will deepen and could easily put Britt in harm’s way. If Cyrus finds out Britt isn’t the loyal chief of staff he thinks she is, he may decide Britt should be put to death!
Liesl’s pretty busy right now with Peter’s takedown, but what happens after Peter indeed goes down? Obrecht may shift her attention to another threat against Britt – a threat that could prove deadly! This post-reunion conversation with Britt paved the way for Liesl to come out of nowhere and cause problems for Cyrus.
General Hospital spoilers say Liesl could become every bit as fierce as Cyrus has become about his mom. Obrecht can be just as protective of her daughter, so Britt might launch quite a battle. Liesl can provide comic relief sometimes, but she’s not to be underestimated.
