General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will be desperate to keep his future with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) from falling apart.
After Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) delivers the news about Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) being Peter’s bio mom, Maxie will no doubt assure Peter that it doesn’t matter.
Maxie has faith in the man she believes Peter’s become, so she surely won’t care if he’s Alex’s son. In Maxie’s opinion, Peter’s been able to overcome Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) shadow, so it’s hard to imagine Maxie holding it against Peter that Alex is his mother.
Of course, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may reveal what they know about Peter’s sinister history, but there’s no proof – and Maxie’s head is buried awfully deep in the sand.
Since Maxie will still be trying to make her decision about Peter during the week of March 8-12, this isn’t something she’s going to make a snap judgment on.
That could be something Peter uses in his favor, especially since this double wedding has turned into an epic failure. Peter will still want to marry Maxie, so he may beg Maxie to elope.
It’s easy to imagine Peter arguing that they’ll never be able to find happiness in Port Charles with all these haters around.
Peter may plead with Maxie to run away with him and start over somewhere else with James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) as well as their new baby.
Since Peter will be clinging to hope that everything will work out, he may push Maxie to choose him and believe his side of the story over everyone else’s.
However, General Hospital spoilers say Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will make a major discovery before this week, March 1-5, winds down. It’ll lead to Franco getting a new perspective – most likely Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) perspective from the past.
Once Franco gets Drew’s memories back, he could offer details on Peter’s role in Drew’s abduction and the extensive part he played in the memory-mapping project. GH spoilers hint there may even be some new shockers that no one knows just yet.
Regardless, Franco will probably remember plenty of incriminating information, so will he try to tell Maxie and stand in the way of Peter’s last shot with her? Time seems to be running out for Franco no matter what, so we’ll offer updates as other details emerge.
