General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may derail Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) showdown in Nixon Falls. Will Peter’s vengeful return make an even bigger mess?
Peter warned Nina there would be consequences if she double-crossed him, but let’s be real: Peter’s threats about stealing James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca) as a replacement for Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) were likely empty ones.
Peter wants his own daughter, not Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) son.
What Nina really has to worry about is Peter showing back up and targeting her for the bogus St. Lucia tip.
Now that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been kidnapped, she won’t be able to kill Peter there like she planned. That means Peter will go on a wild goose chase and ultimately realize Nina must’ve deceived him.
Since Peter’s the kind of guy who holds grudges, he may return to Nixon Falls on a mission to make Nina pay.
After Jax heads to Nixon Falls and confronts Nina over the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) secret, both Nina and Jax could be in for a shock.
During the week of September 13-17, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will get an unsettling call before filling Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in.
That could be from Peter with a promise about making Nina suffer for the phony tip. Nina told Peter that St. Lucia info came from Valentin, so he may assume Valentin was in on the deception.
Whatever the case, Valentin may start to worry that Nina’s in grave danger.
Meanwhile, a situation will spiral out of control at The Tan-O – and Sonny will be in total horror over what he walks in on. That situation will become increasingly dire, but GH spoilers say Jax will manage to call Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at one point.
Of course, we have to wonder why Maxie and not someone like Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) or even Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Jax won’t be trying to contact any of Sonny’s loved ones, so that suggests his call will be about a more pressing matter like the threat Peter poses.
Perhaps Jax will sneak a call to Maxie to warn her while all the Peter drama’s going down.
We’ve also got General Hospital spoilers about Nina awaiting news once all the chaos wraps up, so it’s possible Jax or even Sonny could get injured in the midst of all this.
Bottom line, it seems like Nina and Jax’s faceoff will turn into a much bigger deal than a simple argument. There’ll be real danger if Peter returns and becomes part of that showdown as well.
