General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) deserves to pay for his long list of crimes, but will he actually be punished? Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) feels confident that Peter will slip up somehow – and when he does, Robert will no doubt jump at the chance to take him down.
Now that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is dead as a result of Peter’s bullet, what does that mean for Peter?
At this point in the story, Peter’s lucky due to Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) deadly deal with Franco and the fact that Jason was found with Franco immediately after the shooting.
That gave Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) the prime opportunity to bring Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) into the picture as a fake eyewitness.
However, Jason already suspects Peter is the real culprit. He just needs a way to expose the truth – and Jason can’t do that while he’s stuck behind bars.
Robert, on the other hand, has been hoping to sink Peter for quite some time and could take the lead on this. This could be the angle Robert opts to pursue since no one’s been able to take Peter down another way.
Franco doesn’t need to die in vain, so perhaps his death could at least set Peter’s punishment in motion.
GH writers are delivering a good opportunity for Robert to form an alliance with jailed Jason. Perhaps Jason could get some help proving it was Peter instead – even if they have to manufacture some evidence or resort to shady measures to get the real thing. Fair is fair since Cyrus manipulated the situation, too!
General Hospital spoilers suggest this could be Robert’s best shot at sinking Peter for something, so he might as well take advantage of it.
Robert and Jason will be highly motivated to take Peter down once and for all, so let’s hope Franco’s murder will be what forces Peter to pay.
