General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) may find himself in need of a hero – a real one, not the fake one Peter August (Wes Ramsey) turned into! Peter has received plenty of praise for saving Franco’s life, but he actually plotted to kill him through that hitman.
Peter really shouldn’t be getting showered with all the hero comments when he was guilty in the beginning.
It turns out Peter could soon have another deadly plan in mind for Franco. Since Peter can’t risk Franco remembering Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) old memories and pointing the finger, he may have to get rid of him.
Peter may plot to take Franco off the map permanently, but someone surprising might step up to thwart him.
GH fans know Sam obviously isn’t a fan of Franco due to the horrors he inflicted on her in the past. Franco’s tumor drove him to do some dark things and made Sam his victim, so that history’s never going away.
However, Sam knows Franco’s a different person who has a family with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and her boys now. Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) son, Jake Webber (Hudson West), certainly adores Franco, which surely matters to Sam as well.
Sam recently showed Franco kindness after he had a meltdown over the voice in his head. She pushed Franco to sit down and drink some water, so Sam made an effort to help him.
Sam isn’t the kind of person who’ll let the past stand in the way of doing the right thing in the present. That could become more important as Peter’s fatal plot takes shape.
It doesn’t look like Franco will actually die at the end of this arc, so he’ll need someone to swoop in and save him from Peter’s lethal actions. Could that someone be Sam? After a run-in with Peter on December 8, Sam may land back in Peter’s orbit more often.
We also know Sam will overhear a conversation that isn’t meant for her to hear in the coming weeks. That could easily involve Peter taking steps to kill Franco. If GH writers want to complicate the situation even more, they could have Peter find out about Franco’s deal with Jason.
Peter might hope to manipulate Jason into believing Franco’s sinister side is back and set up Franco’s murder.
That’d provide the perfect chance for a shocker where Sam saves Franco’s life. Even if Peter decides he’ll have to kill Franco himself or hire another hitman, Sam might be the person who lands in the right position to help.
General Hospital writers seem to be inserting her in this story with Franco and Peter, so it makes sense that Sam could come to Franco’s rescue.
