General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we’ve got a September preview featuring wedding mayhem, exposed secrets, a shocking diagnosis and more. Let’s talk about some of the bombshells ahead and see which Port Charles residents will face major shakeups all September long.
Of course, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have set their wedding date for September 17, so you can mark that day down for drama! Jason and Carly’s nuptials will come with some chaos, so that could be due to a combination of problems.
The mob situation remains concerning, especially since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has apparently partnered up with one of the five families.
It looks like Cyrus is in league with the Novaks, so that could bring trouble for both the Corinthos organization as well as Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Vincent Novak’s (Glenn Taranto) interest in Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) seems like it could be a clue about a brewing mob crisis for Sasha and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Will the Novaks kidnap Sasha for obsessed Cyrus?
There are some unpleasant surprises in store for pregnant Sasha and her “baby daddy,” so they’d better be ready no matter what! Jason and Carly should face some shockers of their own as they build to their wedding day and eventual vows.
The Nixon Falls storyline seems to be wrapping up, so Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could easily return to PC – just in time to crash the “Jarly” wedding.
It looks like Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will pay Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a visit and find out her Sonny survival secret, so we’ll see if he plays a role in getting Sonny back home.
In the meantime, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will battle concerns about Leo Falconeri.
Austin Gatlin Holt seems poised to make a diagnosis at Leo’s follow-up visit, so he may determine that Leo’s autistic based on the clues GH has offered so far.
Regardless, Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) could come together as they lean on each other and learn more.
As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll make a daring move and infuriate Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in the process.
Brook Lynn and Maxie will be at odds over what’s best for “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), so Maxie may be eager to take her daughter back and get some resistance from BLQ.
When it comes to the teens, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will drive Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) up the wall and spark a true feud between them.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will have a lot on his plate as he juggles hiding the stalker truth and dealing with the women in his life being so hostile.
There’ll also be some new Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) developments once Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) make a link between his disappearance and Naomi Dreyfus’ (Gigi Bermingham) murder.
Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) kidnapping could tie in as well since it looks like Victor Cassadine (last played by Thaao Penghlis) is the big baddie at the center of all this.
Charles Shaughnessy is set to appear starting this September, so he could be a Victor recast based on the hints GH has offered.
