General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a new plan to get Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) out of Pentonville, but Jason isn’t going to like it!
GH released a new week of April 19-23 preview video that shows Jason arguing that Carly can’t change the situation. “Wrong,” Carly insists in the clip with a smug smile.
Carly has cooked up a shocking scheme, but Jason will try to shut it down. Of course, General Hospital fans know how hard it is to talk Carly out of something once she’s set her mind to it! Carly will share a dangerous strategy with Stone Cold Jason, but they’ll definitely debate it before they put it in motion.
Another part of this week’s promo shows someone with a knife, so that knife could be meant for Jason. Could the plan be to injure Jason just enough so that he has to be taken to GH?
Carly might arrange for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) to give Jason a flesh wound that could be his ticket out of the slammer. She may think Jason can escape once he’s at GH instead of behind prison walls.
We know Shawn is headed back to General Hospital soon – and the man holding the knife in the promo is black. Shawn is certainly someone Carly could turn to for help with this task due to their previous romance and his role in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization.
Of course, Stone Cold Jason might argue that this plot is far from foolproof. We’re talking about a stab wound here, so there are a lot of ways a plan like this could go wrong! Not to mention Jason might only land in the prison infirmary instead of General Hospital.
Jason might feel like if they’re going to pull this off, they’ll need the help of a trusted doctor – and he’ll no doubt want Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to be the doctor they turn to. However, Carly may not be so sure Britt’s the right choice.
General Hospital spoilers point to Carly wondering if they can really put their faith in Britt, but Jason knows her well enough by now to confirm they can.
Britt might tell the medical staff at Pentonville that Jason’s prior motorcycle injury increases the likelihood of complications. She could order that Jason be rushed to GH and give him a clean getaway path when the time comes.
Britt may be putting her career on the line for Jason’s sake, but she may not care considering she doesn’t seem to think she has long to live anyway! This sounds like it could serve as another way to deepen Jason and Britt’s bond, so stay tuned.
