General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may crash Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) wedding reception, so will he be the hero who stops the looming mob attack?
GH fans know a mob attack is indeed in the works thanks to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) desire for revenge and the cooperation of some crucial allies.
During the week of September 13-17, Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) and Mr. Buscema (Burt Tangredi) will give the green light as their scheme gets underway.
Of course, the goal is to strike at Jason and Carly’s nuptials, but the couple will at least make it through the vow portion of the ceremony.
Perhaps Carly and Jason will be lulled into a false sense of security once they make it to the wedding reception without any major incidents.
It’s easy to imagine a newly married Jason and Carly getting caught up in the romance of it all.
We might see a first dance as husband and wife along with some special toasts to the happy couple – all while Cyrus’ allies prepare for deadly action.
Whatever the case, there has to be some sort of wedding mayhem on the way – and it looks like it’ll play out at the reception since Carly and Jason will indeed make it that far during the week of September 20-24.
Naturally, we also have to talk about what will hopefully be Sonny’s imminent return to Port Charles.
Thanks to all the drama that’s about to go down between Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Sonny will inevitably learn who he really is.
This true identity bombshell should bring Sonny back to PC, which means he could lurk while some of the wedding festivities are going on.
Sonny has a knack for stepping up when danger hits, so his instincts could kick in and lead to him thwarting the mob attack – or at least minimizing the damage.
All the heads of the five families are going to be at the wedding, so imagine their shock when Sonny returns from the dead and takes charge of this chaotic situation!
Whether Sonny has his memories back at that point or not, even “Mike” knows how to deal with baddies. It sounds like Sonny may resurface in Port Charles just in time to shut down this mob mess, so don’t miss what’s in store.
