General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Defends Nina on the Stand, Tells Judge No Crime – Testimony Enrages Carly

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will defend Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on the stand and tell the judge no crime has been committed. Sonny’s testimony will enrage Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and lead to some major marriage conflict, so let’s talk about what’s in store.

GH fans know Carly’s done playing nice when it comes to her rival. She blames Nina for robbing her family of so much time with Sonny and doesn’t appreciate her attitude either. Like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Carly is eager to make Nina pay in court.

Of course, Carly may be going a bit overboard in terms of Nina’s level of guilt. She argued that Nina decided to “basically kidnap” Sonny for revenge, but that’s obviously not true at all.

Nina never held Sonny against his will. She simply didn’t give Sonny all the facts, which certainly shouldn’t be punishable by law here.

Sonny was quite content in Nixon Falls and repeatedly insisted that was the life he wanted. He was actually afraid of knowing how to handle a gun so well and didn’t want to go digging into his past in case it might be sinister.

That wasn’t the guy “Mike” wanted to be, but things changed once his memories came flooding back.

Nina was wrong to withhold Sonny’s true identity, but this case is about whether it was a criminal offense. According to a leaked script, Sonny will take the stand in the courtroom to address that very question.

This testimony will take place before an actual trial goes down. The judge will point out that if the case does go to trial, Nina could be found guilty and that’d make Sonny her victim.

Sonny will be asked if he considers himself to be the victim of a crime, so that’ll lead to a long, dramatic pause.

After staring at fuming Carly, Sonny will turn back to the judge and tell the truth. He’ll confess that he doesn’t believe he’s the victim of a crime, so we’d say the judge will dismiss the case entirely.

If Sonny doesn’t hold Nina criminally responsible, it’s going to be hard to convict her of identity fraud.

We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates emerge. General Hospital spoilers say Carly’s sure to lash out over Sonny’s courtroom decision, so stay tuned for “CarSon” trouble.
