General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could interrupt Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) wedding vows. Will Sonny finally see and remember his mystery bride’s face?
GH fans know Sonny recently had a memory flash involving Carly, but he couldn’t tell who the woman was and even suggested it might be a vision of the future.
However, Sonny has had other mysterious flashes involving a blonde he’s drawn to. He gets the feeling this woman was someone important to him, so he’ll have to put the puzzle together eventually.
Jason and Carly’s wedding is rapidly approaching since they’re set to tie the knot on September 17.
Meanwhile, things are really heating up in Nixon Falls, so it feels like that storyline may be winding down.
The timing might fit for Sonny to finally take a trip to Port Charles – just in time to witness Carly in the process of marrying Jason. It doesn’t get much soapier than presumed dead Sonny interrupting his widow’s new nuptials!
Naturally, there’s also the potential for mob danger at this big gathering, but Sonny’s return could certainly fit with that.
It might create a distraction or just launch chaos since the other mob families might not want Sonny to regain control of his territory.
No one will have the amnesia details right off the bat, so that could affect how all this plays out.
Sonny wants no part of the mob life in his current state, but nobody will know that just by looking at him. The other five families will view Sonny as a threat that’s reentering the picture.
Regardless, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will admit he knows who Sonny is on the August 30 episode. Although Peter won’t reveal Sonny’s identity, “Mike” will see the potential to find answers in Port Charles.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) admitted to knowing Peter in PC, so that could put Sonny on a collision course with his hometown.
Back when Sonny first battled memory loss, he had an intriguing reaction to Phyllis Caulfield’s (Joyce Guy) mention of Port Charles.
Sonny may decide that’s the only place to get answers to his questions.
It also looks like Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will return to Nixon Falls soon, so there’ll be another path to secret spillage.
Part of Sonny wants to embrace his new life and never bother looking back, but curiosity may get the best of him.
Will it happen just in time for Sonny to crash Jason and Carly’s wedding? Will the sight of Carly as Jason’s bride trigger anything for Sonny?
