General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are set to grow even closer. Ever since Nina showed up at The Tan-O, her eyes have been opened to a new side of Sonny.
“Mike” is a gentle soul with plenty of charm and a great sense of humor. It’s been interesting to watch Nina get drawn in by this version of Sonny – and Sonny’s feeling the same way now that he’s met Nina.
Of course, we’ve got Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) trying to play Cupid for these two as well. Nina and Sonny have confirmed to each other that they aren’t looking to date, but it’s clear that feelings are starting to develop.
General Hospital spoilers say the upcoming firehouse dance should strengthen Sonny and Nina’s connection. At this rate, Sonny’s bound to make his move sooner or later!
It’s easy to imagine another close dance between them that ends with Sonny pulling Nina in for a sweet kiss.
This could bring an opportunity for Sonny to confess his feelings and hope Nina’s willing to be his new girlfriend. Sonny may acknowledge that he doesn’t have a lot to offer when it comes to money or the finer things Nina might be used to.
Sonny can’t even offer Nina a past to open up about, but Sonny may still think they could have a bright future.
Perhaps Sonny will argue that they can’t ignore this spark – at least if Nina’s feeling that spark, too. Although Nina indeed seems to be falling for “Mike,” things are complicated since she knows who Sonny really is.
Nina knows Sonny has a wife named Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) waiting for him back home!
GH spoilers say Nina will find herself torn as this storyline moves forward. Part of Nina may think she needs to end this before she gets in any deeper. It’s one thing for Nina to make Carly pay, but it’s not fair to Sonny and his children.
Nevertheless, the idea of taking her revenge to another level could be appealing to Nina. If Nina gets riled up at Carly all over again, she may decide there’s no reason she shouldn’t steal Carly’s husband for herself.
