General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could be marked for murder upon his return to Port Charles. Vincent Novak’s name has already been mentioned multiple times – and we know from other leaked spoilers that this guy is likely going to be a pretty big deal.
GH needs a new villain to fill the void with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) out of the picture, so it looks like Vincent is going to do the job. Of course, that means Vincent will remain at odds with the Corinthos organization.
Vincent will certainly face off with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but what about Sonny?
We can’t forget that Sonny is alive and well in Nixon Falls. Sonny has been living as “Mike,” but no one’s going to view him as the sweet softie he’s turned into. When Sonny comes back to Port Charles, he’ll be viewed as a threat.
Things ran smoothly for the most part under Sonny’s watch – and there was no doubt about who was in charge whenever he was around.
Once Sonny inevitably comes to surprise Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in PC like Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) wants, it could lead to extreme danger.
Vincent or even another enemy could resolve to take Sonny out for good! It won’t matter to any of them that Sonny doesn’t have his memories back, especially since those memories could eventually return and make him the fierce adversary he once was.
The current situation has been working out well for Sonny’s competitors, so they’ll want him to stay gone. Since Vincent has been brought up specifically, he seems like the one most likely to order a hit on Sonny.
We could see Carly, Jason, Nina and others panic over the possibility that they’ll lose Sonny for real this time!
Sonny might get shot or injured another way if he isn’t careful, but he’s got nine lives at this point and will surely be just fine in the end. We’ll offer updates as other GH news rolls in.
