General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been making some bad decisions that are bound to come back to haunt her. Nina should’ve told the truth about amnesiac Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) being alive right away, but she chose to keep that shocker under wraps.
Now Nina has agreed to write a story for Crimson to help The Tan-O and other struggling businesses in the area.
Sonny is hopeful that Nina can do a human-interest piece, so she decided to stick around and see what she could do – though she added it might take a while to get anything in print.
Of course, General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny will want to see the finished product published sooner or later. Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) will be expecting Nina to come through for them as well.
Nina is setting herself up for trouble since this article could lead straight to Sonny if it’s actually published.
It’s going to seem weird for Nina to highlight this town that’s fallen on hard times in a magazine that focuses on fashion. “Mike” will no doubt be interviewed for Nina’s story as well, so what happens if his picture is included?
It’s easy to imagine Nina going through with the whole process and then dragging her feet on publishing the actual article or series or articles.
Nina would know it’d mean Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and everyone else back in Port Charles could discover the truth about Sonny – and the fact that Nina’s known for quite some time.
It’s easy to see the potential for Nina to lose control of this story, especially if “Mike” gets frustrated over Nina not doing what she promised. Sonny could easily get in touch with Nina’s second in command and try to charm his way into getting it published ASAP.
Sonny might resort to some deception about Nina approving that decision since “Mike” is awfully good at sweet-talking.
Regardless, writing this story at all is a terrible plan that could backfire spectacularly. Will Nina’s Crimson story spread the word about “Mike” aka Sonny? Will that lead to the exposure of Nina’s latest secret? We’ll offer updates as other GH news pops up.
