General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new selfie may spread to Port Charles, so this could be how Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets busted with “Mike” in Nixon Falls. Nina’s terrified that her two lives will collide – and that’s inevitable considering the massive secret she’s keeping.
Nina knows Sonny is alive with amnesia, but she decided to keep Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the rest of Sonny’s family in the dark.
Sonny has built a new life for himself – one that Nina would like to be part of if circumstances were different.
Of course, Sonny doesn’t know the whole story and is hoping to create a life with Nina anyway. “Mike” flirts like crazy whenever Nina’s around and is always finding opportunities to grow closer.
Sonny wanted to snap a selfie with Nina during the July 26 episode, so Nina happily posed with him. It seems like Nina’s being a bit too brazen when it comes to this Sonny survival secret!
Nina may end up wishing she’d played it smarter and avoided having multiple pictures of herself with Sonny floating around.
However, the fact that Sonny took a new photo may be significant. Sonny might post that pic somewhere without Nina’s knowledge and set the stage for the secret to ultimately spread.
There are plenty of people who know Nina’s been staying in Nixon Falls, so someone could do some digging online and see shocking Sonny proof.
Then again, Sonny might share that selfie with Nina and set up her own mistake. Nina could mistakenly send the selfie to someone problematic and expose her secret in the process.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) would be a great option since she’d be torn about whether to reveal the truth.
Ava would know it’d mean the world to Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) if she got her father back, but it’d be a custody game-changer on ABC’s GH.
Ava intends on taking Avery back from Carly once the stalker drama’s cleared up, so that could be a factor in any potential decision to stay quiet.
Regardless, Sonny’s selfie could come back to haunt Nina in a big way. Nina may get busted through that pic and have some explaining to do down the road!
