General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) revealed a positive COVID-19 test and explained that he was exposed at work. This brought some unfortunate rescheduling issues, so a disappointed Burton filled his fans in on social media.
Burton was supposed to start a fun tour with Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), which was already rescheduled. Now Burton’s being forced to reschedule once again due to testing positive following a coronavirus exposure on the job.
In a video that was shared on Twitter, Burton told the story and insisted he was so “bummed out” about pushing back this August tour. Bradford and Burton will have some new dates coming up since they indeed plan to reschedule, but they’re still upset since they can’t come through for their fans now.
“Long story short, I was exposed at work,” Burton said. “I tested Wednesday; I tested negative. And then I wanted to take another test before I got on an airplane to be safe to come out and see you guys. And then I tested positive.”
Thankfully, Burton hasn’t experienced any symptoms so far. He assured everyone that he feels fine other than being bummed about not being able to start the tour in Boston as planned. The silver lining is that Burton isn’t feeling sick, so at least there’s that!
Burton was apologetic to those who were looking forward to the tour and would now have to wait. It’s not ideal, but it’s good that he’s keeping everyone in the loop on where things stand.
As for what’s next on GH, Jason and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a wedding to plan soon. The “Jarly” nuptials are sure to come with plenty of drama, so don’t miss what’s in store as the show builds to this big event.
