General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, April 22 – Jax Shot, Takes Bullet Meant for Sonny – Jason & Shawn Brainstorm

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, April 22, tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will reach an agreement. Neither Michael nor Willow really knows how to break the news that they want to be together, so they’ve been keeping Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in the dark.

Willow will get that it’s a lot to ask of Michael, but he’ll support the idea of keeping their recent reconnection a secret and putting their plans for the future on hold. Michael and Willow will resolve to fill Chase in once he’s recovered, but they have no way of knowing how long that might take.

Meanwhile, Chase will get a couple of visitors in his room at GH. General Hospital spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will ask if this is a private party or if anyone can join. Chase will be happy to see his old partner – and they might even discuss the possibility of being partners again before long.

Dante’s considering the idea of rejoining the force, so Chase might like the sound of that. He might even suggest it’d provide extra incentive for him to get better quickly and work with Dante again.

Chase will also get a visit from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who’ll joke about how she won’t be making a habit out of doting on him like this.

There’s a good chance Brook Lynn and Chase will end up in a romance down the road, so it’s good that GH writers are offering these little moments of connection along the way.

As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll reconnect with someone from her past on Thursday – at least in a way. Maxie will drop by the cemetery to visit Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) grave and admit she’s in trouble.

Maxie will open up about her Peter August (Wes Ramsey) dilemma, so we’ll see if she shares her plan to fake her baby’s death with her deceased husband. If so, that could prove rather risky considering someone could come along to overhear.

We know Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will somehow wind up in the loop on Maxie’s scheme, so it’ll be interesting to see exactly how she finds out in the coming episodes.

In the meantime, Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will give Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) her word. The problem is that won’t be good enough for Carly.

Carly will insist she’s going to need a lot more than Jordan’s word when it comes to the plan she’s working on. It looks like Jordan may have played a role in arranging for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) new cellmate.

GH fans just saw that Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) is Jason’s new roomie, but neither one of them seems very sure what’s going on at this point.

Carly intends to put the next phase of her plot in motion soon, but she’ll need to know for certain she’s got Jordan’s full cooperation. Back in Jason and Shawn’s shared cell, they’ll mull over who set this up for Carly.

Shawn and Jason will brainstorm as they try to nail down what Carly wants next and perhaps form their own strategies, too.

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will confront Carly eventually and no doubt take the opportunity to gloat now that he’s got his mother back. Carly may end up facing some threats regarding Jason’s safety, so she should become even more convinced she has to get him out of there quickly.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will face some infuriating updates. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will finally deliver the news that Peter’s responsible for Chase’s dire condition.

Finn will find out that Chase was poisoned, so he’ll explode over Peter’s move as well as Anna’s silence up to now. Anna should’ve told Finn immediately, but better late than never!

In Nixon Falls, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will ask what kind of friend he’d be if he didn’t have Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) back. Nina will continue to bond with “Mike,” but she’s in for a shock since Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) just arrived at the firehouse dance.

Jax is nearby looking for Nina, but Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) may be reluctant to give him any information. Although Jax will want to know if Nina’s still in Nixon Falls, Phyllis might insist Nina would’ve asked him to come if she’d wanted him there.

Perhaps Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) will take pity on Jax since he came all that way. Lenny might argue that Jax at least deserves a chance to speak with Nina under the circumstances. However, Jax is about to find trouble in Nixon Falls as well.

Jax will get shot in the arm according to Friday’s GH spoilers, April 23, but that sounds like the perfect Thursday cliffhanger if you ask us.

Maybe the end of Thursday’s episode will be when someone – namely Elijah Crowe (Dan White) or one of his minions – takes aim at Sonny and hits Jax by mistake.

General Hospital spoilers say Jax will catch a glimpse of Sonny before the week winds down, so don’t miss what’s in store. CDL will have all the sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your go-to source.
