General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, December 16 Recap – Chase’s Towel Drop Shocks Brook Lynn – Sasha Wants Baby Liam Miracle

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 16, reveals that Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) towel drop shocked Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) wanted a Baby Liam Corbin miracle.

In the steam room, Chase confirmed what Brook Lynn already knew about the stuck door. He kept trying to force it open and dropped his towel in the process, which led to him baring all in front of an impressed Brook Lynn.

Chase was embarrassed as he covered himself, but he thought Brook Lynn could stand to lose some layers since she was burning up.

Brook Lynn remained upset over all the harsh things people kept saying about her due to the paternity lie. After Chase offered a pep talk, he insisted he saw the real Brook Lynn.

Chase and Brook Lynn almost kissed before the janitor opened the door. He was sorry about leaving his floor buffer against it, but Brook Lynn seemed flustered over what had just gone down with Chase.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) caught up with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), who was working on the punching bag in the boxing gym. When Curtis realized Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) was there as well, he blew his top.

Marshall thought it should be TJ’s choice whether he wanted to hang out with him. He wanted to make up for lost time, but Curtis didn’t think that was possible.

Marshall obeyed Curtis’ order to leave, which upset TJ and led to more bickering. However, Curtis wanted the chance to investigate Marshall before TJ let him get too close.

At the Metro Court, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) found Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) deep in thought.

After Portia finally got Stella’s attention, they had a brief conversation about Marshall – though Stella was rather cagey. She later texted Marshall and met with him privately so that they could lay all their cards on the table.

At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) agreed to stop dancing around what was happening between them.

Liz admitted she would only be interested in something serious with Finn and couldn’t do something casual.

Finn wondered if that’d be so bad and was on the same page about a slow, serious relationship.

After Liz brought up the fact that she was still wearing her wedding ring, Finn insisted he didn’t want to pressure her. He got that maybe Liz wasn’t ready, but he suggested he’d be waiting once she was.

In Sasha’s room, she reminded Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) that their son still had a heartbeat.

Sasha was reluctant to let Liam go since he was the only flesh and blood she had. Brando felt they had to focus on what was best for Liam, who couldn’t have a real life in this state.

Sasha ran out of the room in tears before Brando received some guidance from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Nina got updates on the situation as Brando wondered if maybe Sasha was right to cling to hope. He pointed out that Nina came out of her coma, but Nina gently explained why the situation was different for Liam.

However, Nina knew Brando and Sasha could make the right decision together.

As for Sasha, she got advice from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the NICU. Sasha talked about how other people got miracles and cried over not getting one, too.

Sonny understood and related this to when he had to accept there’d be no miracle cure for Mike Corbin (Max Gail). He suggested he came to realize prolonging his father’s life was more about postponing the pain of losing him.

After Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) eavesdropped for a moment, she sent Sasha to see the neonatologist since the doc was waiting for a decision about Liam’s care.

Gladys let Sonny know he did right by Mike in his final days and wanted a moment alone with Liam.

Back with Sasha, she was still teary as she came together with Brando. After they both admitted to doing some thinking, Sasha crumbled in Brando’s arms.

Next, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) opened up to Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) and seemed glad to have a pal – that is until she invited Harmony over to her place.

It dawned on Alexis that it wouldn’t be a good idea since Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) was a Dawn of Day victim. Alexis and Harmony decided that perhaps some friendships were better left behind prison walls.

At the Metro Court, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) complained to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about wanting to pummel Nina, but she was willing to go along with Sonny’s wishes until Nina was in jail. Carly could rein it in as long as Nina steered clear of her loved ones.

At GH again, Sonny told Nina that a vision of Mike saved his life. He suggested maybe it wasn’t a coincidence that he ended up in Nixon Falls using the name Mike and acting a lot like his father.

Nina noted that he was both Sonny and Mike. She assured Sonny that both versions of himself were men that Mike would be very proud of.

When Carly appeared with Olivia and saw Nina standing so close to Sonny, she glared at her nemesis.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Carly’s war is far from over, so stay tuned.
