General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, December 23, teases that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will grill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on the witness stand while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) carries out some cop business. As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she won’t budge when it comes to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) – and that’ll lead to more GH drama for the younger group.
Since Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) preliminary is about to begin, she’ll push Scott to give it to her straight.
What are the odds that Nina will be able to avoid a full-blown trial? Scott may assure Nina that he’ll do everything in his power to make sure the case gets thrown out, but she won’t realize just how far he’ll go!
Thanks to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Scott knows Nina and Sonny fell in love during his time in Nixon Falls. As Sonny takes the stand, Scott will be armed with this ammo and will use it to his advantage.
Scott will quiz Sonny about the decision not to press charges and wonder why Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had to do it behind his father’s back.
Sonny may argue that he simply wanted to put Nixon Falls behind him, but Scott may push him to admit there’s more to the story.
Even if Sonny doesn’t confess to his romance with Nina, that shocker’s still going to come out through other testimony in the coming episodes.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will push Scott to come through for Nina, but there’ll be another crisis to worry about.
That’s because Obrecht will bump into Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and push his buttons. Liesl will land on Victor’s bad side again – and that’s never a good place to be!
While fierce Victor tells Obrecht to stay out of his way, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will get some advice from Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) at Kelly’s.
Trina will see tons of potential in Spencer and will keep offering encouragement on his path to a better version of himself.
Spencer won’t see himself in such a favorable light, but he’ll appreciate that Trina tries to see the best in someone like him. Spencer will wish he had the same perspective, but Trina may point out it’s not so hard to have a little faith.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will have a tense discussion with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as she tries to find out just how involved he was with Victor.
Although Nikolas had no part in helping Peter August (Wes Ramsey), the fact that he was Victor’s ally at all is bad enough.
Nikolas will no doubt try to minimize any involvement he had with Victor and assure Laura that it’s over now, but Victor will remain a problem.
Speaking of problems, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will fear there’s one when Dante arrives to take care of some official police business.
There’ll be some new investigation for Dante to carry out, so we’ll see if Shawn can help.
Esme will come looking for some help of her own when she barges in on Josslyn and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) conversation. Josslyn will let Cameron know she’s not changing her mind about Esme and what she’s capable of.
Esme just isn’t someone Joss is ever going to trust. Soon after, Esme herself will show up frantic about some horrible situation.
Esme will act like this is the worst thing ever, so maybe Spencer will put up a fight on accepting the deal Victor struck for him.
Spencer really needs to swallow his pride and do this mere month at Spring Ridge or else he could land in Pentonville for years!
Esme may remind Joss and Cam if she needs someone else to help Spencer see the light.
It looks like Josslyn may take the lead on some Spencer drama, so Esme might take this chance to cozy up to Cameron a bit more.
General Hospital spoilers say Esme and the rest of the gang will face more bombshells.
