General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, February 25, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will meet up with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to let her know he’s thinking of getting out of the PI business.
Curtis is fed up with secrets and those who keep them, so he’s not keen on carrying out more investigations and uncovering hard truths.
Sam will ask what Curtis wants to do instead, so he may admit he’s thinking about the nightclub that’s up for sale. Curtis mentioned the idea to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) during their stakeout there, so Sam should support Curtis if that’s what he decides.
Sam might even want to get in on the action since she’s looking for a change of pace herself.
Meanwhile, Portia will pay Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) a visit to discuss the situation with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). “I want you to give it to him,” Portia says in Thursday’s GH preview video. Portia may mean Jordan’s cooperation when it comes to the deal Cyrus has offered.
Cyrus is desperate to get his mother back, so he’s willing to let Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) off the hook if Jordan does what she’s told.
Portia will want Jordan to do whatever it takes to make sure Taggert goes free and has a chance to rebuild his bond with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) again.
Of course, it’s complicated since Jordan can’t control what Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) does with Florence Grey (Annie Abbott). Nevertheless, Portia will beg for Jordan’s help and hope for the best.
As for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), he’ll be in the car with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) on their road trip to Vermont. “What’s the plan if we get caught?” Martin asks in Thursday’s GH preview clip.
Jackie may insist that they won’t – at least not if Martin lets her take the lead on this. General Hospital spoilers say Martin and Jackie will do some investigating, so this will bring progress in the search for Florence. Unfortunately, there may be a few setbacks as well!
Next, Jason will get a phone call and warn the person on the other end that they should see how this plays out. Jason might get updates on Jackie and Martin’s digging, but he might want to see what they uncover before he makes any major decisions.
If Martin and Jackie get too close to finding Florence, Jason could also have her moved to another safehouse. For now, Jason will apparently just want to monitor the situation and see what happens.
Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll give Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) some reassurance about Spencer Cassadine (last played by Nicolas Bechtel). “He’s going to come around like THAT,” Laura says with a snap of her fingers in Thursday’s preview video.
Nikolas won’t seem so sure – and he might even start to suspect Spencer’s behind the dead roach and note that were sent to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). That’s especially true since Ava’s probably about to “prove” it wasn’t Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Ryan seems to be faking his locked in syndrome, but we know from other General Hospital spoilers that Ryan is NOT behind Ava’s Valentine’s Day “gift.” Ava will once again taunt Ryan and argue that if anyone should be scared, it’s Ryan.
Ava won’t want Ryan thinking he’s put any fear in her with his special deliveries, but she may walk away convinced that Ryan wasn’t really the culprit.
Will Nikolas settle on Spencer as another possible culprit? Will Spencer be the wrong suspect, too? Time will tell, but Nikolas will intend to keep his promise when it comes to protecting Ava from harm.
As for Elizabeth Baldwin (Roger Howarth), she’ll hope to find out that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is responding well to his cancer treatment. “Is his tumor shrinking?” Liz says hopefully in Thursday’s preview video.
Sadly, the answer should be no since there’s another scene of Elizabeth in despair in this week’s promo.
Liz will eventually lean on Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as she goes through a rough time. Franco will be busy coping in a very different way back home – and it could lead to concerns about his mental state.
General Hospital spoilers say Franco will have a major meltdown. It looks like Franco will end up doing some damage to the sofa as he rages over his bad tumor news.
