General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, February 4, tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be eager to get out of GH. Dante just got fired by Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but he won’t let that stop him from completing the mission.
Since Dante isn’t accomplishing anything in his hospital bed, it looks like he’ll want Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) to bend the rules for him and speed up his release.
Elizabeth certainly won’t do that if it poses a danger to Dante’s health, but she might if there’s no great risk and Dante pushes hard enough. Whatever the case, Dante will give it his best shot! As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll remain at Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) grave waiting for some sort of sign.
Maxie has finally admitted the possibility that maybe Peter being Nathan’s brother affected her view of her fiancé. She denied that to Dante, but the truth came pouring out at Nathan’s grave.
Maxie’s worried that maybe she needed Nathan in her life so much that she couldn’t see Peter clearly and perhaps still can’t.
It turns out Maxie will indeed get a sign on Thursday – just not the one she’s expecting. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will arrive and apparently set Maxie off with whatever she says. “What do I have to do to get some acceptance around here?!” Maxie shouts in Thursday’s GH preview video.
Nina will look sympathetic and GH fans know why. She’ll undoubtedly offer updates on Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) being her biological daughter. Nina will probably suggest that Nelle must’ve asked herself what it’d take to get acceptance in Port Charles, too.
Nelle sought that acceptance in Nina and got betrayed in court, so Nina will continue to battle guilt over that.
As for Peter, Nina may suggest that some people are complicated – just like Nelle was. Although Nina can’t deny the horrible things Nelle did, she can also understand that a difficult life drove her to make bad decisions.
Nina should understand why Maxie wants to give Peter a chance to prove himself, even if Nina’s chance with Nelle has passed her by.
Thursday’s preview also shows a smiling Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) asking if there’s room for one more. It seems Britt will join in and make this quite the graveside party. Britt, Nina and Maxie may feel like Nathan would appreciate having them all come together like this for him.
Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll meet up with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to discuss Nina’s newfound Nelle knowledge. Carly feels pretty good about the situation now that the truth’s out. It’s not what Carly wanted, but Nina knows and at least she doesn’t have to worry about all this necklace business anymore.
What Carly does have to worry about is the full story of Nelle’s death leaking. Carly was there with Nelle at the cliff’s edge and let her rival’s hand slip through her fingers.
Since Carly and Jax covered up that part, Carly will want to make sure Nina doesn’t push this any further. Jax will assure Carly that Nina is an ally rather than an enemy, but Carly won’t be as certain.
In the meantime, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will be busy dealing with Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) threats. “You’re probably going to forget what you just said, but I won’t,” Jason insists in Thursday’s GH preview clip.
Scott will want to protect Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), but he’d better not take things too far.
At the boxing gym, General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will hang out with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Chase will want confirmation that there’s hope for Gregory and Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) relationship to heal – and it looks like Gregory will indeed be hopeful.
Of course, Chase and Gregory don’t know that Finn slept with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before her wedding. As a result, there’s a chance that Chase may actually be Finn’s biological son.
Finn previously decided he wanted to get a paternity test and know for sure, but he’ll have some second thoughts on Thursday. Finn will wonder what he’d really gain by knowing the truth.
Nevertheless, it seems Finn will decide to pursue the truth anyway. Finn will join Gregory and Chase’s bonding session and perhaps find himself contemplating things even further. In the end, Finn may just want to know for his own peace of mind.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will arrive at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place looking for answers about Dante.
Anna will seem uneasy, but she’ll offer the latest news about Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and everything she’s learned in her Dante investigation so far.
The closer Anna gets to the truth about Peter, the more troubled she’ll become. Back with Scott, he may unload some of his own troubles as he catches up with Jackie.
