General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 21, tease that some heated confrontations are on the way. Before we get to what’s in store, we should point out that Wednesday’s show will be preempted for inauguration day coverage. Thursday’s episode will put us right back in the action, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
For starters, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will push Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) to explain why he’s sneaking around keeping secrets. Liz will fill Franco in on her conversation with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), so Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) name will come up.
Franco will end up surrendering to the pressure and admitting that he asked Jason to kill him if his tumor caused his dark side to return.
Obviously, that news will freak Elizabeth out. “Why would you be so quick to throw that away?” Liz asks in Thursday’s GH preview video. Elizabeth might be talking about the truth between them if this happens before Franco’s revelation.
If it happens afterward, Liz could just as easily be talking about the life Franco’s built with her.
Elizabeth won’t want Franco giving up and leaving his family any sooner than he has to. Liz might think it’s dangerous to put Franco’s life in Jason’s hands since Jason’s always going to hate him! Jason isn’t exactly a great judge of whether “Bad Franco” is back or not!
While Liz rips into Franco, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will confide in Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will be trying to put a puzzle together.
Now that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) have helped craft a defense, it undoubtedly has Alexis thinking harder about what really happened that night.
It seems Alexis will talk to Finn about Tracy’s setup and what her angle was. Finn may reflect on his latest chat with Tracy and admit she seemed to be acting weirder than usual! Tracy’s comments about secrets could leave Finn wondering if Alexis is right.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will meet up with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Anna will talk about something she doesn’t believe for a second, so we’ll see exactly what Anna’s referring to on Thursday.
Anna certainly doesn’t believe in anything that points to Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) guilt, but Peter is indeed guilty of a mountain of crimes.
Peter just might add to them since he’ll ask someone for a favor on Thursday. We know Peter wants info from Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery), so this favor may tie in with Andre’s memory-mapping work.
As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll sit down for a conversation with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Dante will wonder what the big meeting’s about, so Maxie will clearly have some updates to pass along.
Perhaps Maxie will tell Dante about her plan to name her daughter Louise and call her “Lou.” It’s a little nod to Lulu’s name so that Maxie’s little girl will always carry a piece of Lulu with her. That would certainly touch Dante’s heart and could be the reason why this chat will take an emotional turn soon enough.
Maxie may also ask Dante to serve as this child’s godfather, so that could bring some strong emotions, too. This is something Lulu should be around to share in, but she’s still stuck in a coma and missing so many milestones. Both Dante and Maxie hope Lulu may come back to them someday, but they’ll keep carrying on as best as they can for now.
Over with Jason, he’ll continue his clashing session with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). The topic of Peter has just come up, so Jason will have an important question to ask. “Are you going to see what you want to see or are you going to see the truth?” Jason wonders in Thursday’s preview clip.
Britt will listen to what Jason has to say and begin to see her brother in new light. It sounds like Britt will feel like both Jason and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may be right. Britt will definitely have to keep her guard up when it comes to Peter from now on.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will decide enough is enough. Ned will shut down Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) attempts to cover up his cheating mistake any longer. Tracy has made a total mess, so Ned will think this has to end now.
It looks like Ned will come clean about sleeping with Alexis and hope Olivia can find it in her heart to forgive him. GH fans won’t want to miss Thursday’s bombshells, so stay tuned. CDL will have lots of other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so stop by regularly.
