General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 15, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will take a risky New York trip – at least it could be risky for secretive Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)! In the meantime, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will have a showdown while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) delivers stunning news to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
When Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) runs into Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) at the Metro Court pool, she’ll continue to suggest friendship is for the best.
However, Curtis won’t seem to think it’s that simple. There’s a deeper connection here that Curtis really wants to explore, so he’ll do his best to get Portia on board.
As for Maxie, she’ll drop a bit of a bomb on Sasha. Maxie will reveal that she’s taking a step back at Deception, so Sasha will seem concerned. Nevertheless, Maxie will think leaving Port Charles is the right call.
Maxie won’t tell Sasha the whole truth about her baby, but Sasha should understand Maxie’s desire to get away and clear her head.
Meanwhile, Nina will confront Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) about her bogus pregnancy. Nina will admit she understands Maxie’s side of all this.
The person Nina won’t be able to figure out is Brook Lynn, so she’ll demand answers about why she would go to such great lengths to dupe Papa Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Brook Lynn will explain her desire to get the shares and make amends for past mistakes, but Nina obviously won’t approve of the way she went about it.
Even so, what’s done is done – and Maxie won’t budge on telling Valentin the truth.
Nina promised to keep the secret no matter what, so she’ll let Brook Lynn know she’s reluctantly going to be part of this Valentin deception.
Speaking of Valentin, he’ll urge Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to acknowledge what’s happening between them.
Valentin won’t think they can deny their spark despite Anna’s attempts to push him away. GH fans know Valentin can be pretty persistent, so he may wear Anna down sooner or later.
Until then, let’s talk about Gladys and some advice she’ll give Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Back at the Metro Court pool, Gladys will be sporting a new look as a freshly dyed blonde. “This is your time!” Gladys says excitedly in Thursday’s preview clip.
It’s possible Gladys will be talking about Brando’s chance to build a family with Sasha, but we all know she doesn’t like the mom-to-be very much.
Gladys might suggest Brando stand by his child and look into other romantic options instead while he’s still young. Then again, this could be about Brando’s work within the Corinthos organization.
Regardless, Gladys will wind up having a fierce faceoff with Carly on Thursday’s episode, so stay tuned to see who instigates it.
Next, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will get updates on Carly and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) impending marriage.
Spinelli will suggest he couldn’t imagine a more perfect union, though he may battle concerns about how Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) holding up.
Over with Sonny and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), they’ll share a moment alone while traveling to see Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) specialist at New York Methodist Hospital.
There’ll be something that leads Phyllis to believe Sonny might be remembering, but it doesn’t look like Sonny will be able to retrieve any firm memories.
Of course, we should note that Anna and Valentin will also be headed to New York Methodist soon, so there’ll be the potential for a startling encounter or at least a close call!
General Hospital spoilers say some Sonny bombshells are still to come, so stay tuned to ABC’s GH. CDL will have other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by often.
