General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, June 3 Recap – Finn Panics Over Killing Peter – Brook Lynn’s Fake Birth

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 3, reveals that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) panicked over killing Peter August (Wes Ramsey) while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) came up with a fake birth story. Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) begged an emotional Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), so here’s how it all played out on Thursday’s shocking episode.

In a hotel room, Brook Lynn talked to Baby Louise about the long road they had ahead of them. She realized she needed to find someone she trusted enough to lie to before she took the next step.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) were busy making bedroom eyes at each other at the Quartermaine gatehouse. Michael explained that he changed his mind and didn’t think being together that night would affect Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Before Michael and Willow could lean in for a kiss, the phone rang. It was Brook Lynn, who greeted the pair when the showed up at her hotel room later. Brook Lynn acted like she had contractions in the car and got a doula to deliver the baby in the room.

Brook Lynn pretended to be exhausted from the delivery and revealed that the baby’s name was “Bailey Lois Quartermaine.”

Michael insisted that Brook Lynn and “Bailey” needed to be checked out, so he forced them to head to GH soon after.

In Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) hospital room, she lied to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) having the baby and took comfort in the fact that Louise wasn’t with Peter.

When Maxie saw Brook Lynn and Louise through her room window later, she peeked out at them looking emotional. On the rooftop, Finn pushed Peter to save Chase’s life.

Peter argued that actions had consequences and that it’d be Anna’s fault if Chase died. He infuriated Finn by throwing the antidote vial off the roof.

Finn chased Peter and got into a major confrontation with him in the stairwell. That led to Finn’s punch and Peter’s tumble. Peter hit his head before blood started pouring out – and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) rushed to Peter’s side before kneeling down to check his pulse.

Liz couldn’t feel a pulse or Peter’s breath, so she told Finn that she thought Peter was gone. Finn beat himself up for killing the one person who could save Chase.

Liz warned Finn that if he told the cops, they would investigate and he’d waste precious time that could be spent trying to find a real cure.

Elizabeth also didn’t think Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) should lose another parent over a guy like Peter. She begged Finn to flee with her since the cops were searching for Peter, but Finn didn’t want to just leave like that.

After events that apparently transpired off screen, Liz told Finn that the authorities would still think Peter was on the loose and that nobody would ever know Peter was dead. Once Finn and Liz found Anna, she assured them that she’d never stop looking for Peter.

At Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) house, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) nearly stormed inside out of fear for Portia and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).

Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) warned Taggert not to pull anything like that again as Laura prepared to trade herself for Portia and Trina.

Cyrus wanted to keep Portia and just let Trina go, but Laura insisted she would be the only hostage. She refused to let Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) the hostage negotiator talk her out of this and donned a bulletproof vest in preparation for the switch.

Laura also worked out with Jordan that “Florence” would be the word they used as a signal. It would be Jordan’s green light to send her team in if things went south.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) gave Laura a reminder not to say it accidentally, so she understood and vowed to be careful.

Laura wanted time to convince Cyrus to turn himself in, but Jordan couldn’t give her much of it for her own safety. After a careful exchange, Portia and Trina were free. Meanwhile, Laura went inside and appealed to Cyrus as his sister.

Cyrus pushed Laura to take off her bulletproof vest if she really meant for them to talk as siblings, so she did what she was told. Laura felt Cyrus should end this peacefully and try to be the good person his mother saw in him all those years ago.

Cyrus ranted about his mom’s treatment of him, but he teared up as he admitted family still meant something to him.

However, unhinged Cyrus didn’t think a life behind bars was a life at all. He warned that the only way they were both getting out of there alive is if he walked free.

While Trina shared a grateful moment with Taggert outside, Curtis comforted Portia. Jordan eventually got her team ready to rumble as they assumed their positions.
