General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, October 14, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will deserve a second chance in Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) opinion. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also interrogate Cameron Webber (William Lipton) while Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) slams Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
At GH, Austin will want to lawyer up and prepare to fight against Brook Lynn’s HIPAA violation strategy. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn will explain her new tactic to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at the boxing gym and will most likely be met with disapproval.
Maxie has been growing closer to Austin, so it’s hard to believe she’ll go for targeting Austin’s medical career as leverage.
That’s particularly true since it means using Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) and his potential autism as tricks up her sleeve. Brook Lynn really needs to get her priorities in order!
When Maxie finds Austin after his meeting, she’ll receive a stern warning. Austin may think Maxie was right before about not wanting to be pals with Brook Lynn.
It’s clear that Brook Lynn is willing to use anyone and anything to gain the upper hand, but Maxie can’t exactly turn her back on her – not when BLQ’s keeping “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) safe.
At home, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will have a tense discussion about the importance of letting go. It looks like Carly will think Joss is begging for more trouble when it comes to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Since Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has enough problems as it is, Carly may not want Josslyn to make matters worse. However, Josslyn won’t think Carly can really let go of her revenge on Nina.
Joss won’t see why Carly should expect anything different from her daughter, but Carly may argue that she’s genuinely trying to let go for Sonny’s sake.
Speaking of Sonny, he’ll urge Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to be honest about what was going to happen the night of his nuptials.
Jason will be uncomfortable, but he promised Carly he’d come clean if Sonny asked. The truth is Jason and Carly committed to making this a real marriage in the end.
Sonny will have to come to grips with that information, but Jason won’t think it’s all that important now that Sonny’s home.
Even so, it’ll be hard for Sonny to just forget that Jason and Carly almost hit the sheets. If Sonny hadn’t barged in the bedroom, that could’ve been one sizzling “Jarly” wedding night!
Jason will ultimately get a break from all that drama since Britt’s on the verge of asking for assistance with the Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) search.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Spencer will remain furious with Ava for having him arrested. Of course, that means Spencer will be angry with Nikolas all over again.
Spencer won’t get how Nikolas can stand by a woman like that and won’t think his father cares about him at all.
As for Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll land at the police station for an interrogation.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be in ultimate good cop mode as he pushes Cam to tell the truth for his friend’s sake. He’ll work to convince Cameron it’s the only way to really help Spencer.
Finally, Ava will urge Nina to keep pursuing what she wants. She’ll think forgiveness is possible and won’t be ready to throw in the towel when it comes to Nina’s romance with Sonny.
Ava will like the idea of Nina softening Sonny and pushing Carly right out of the picture.
Nina may think that ship has sailed, but Ava won’t want her to give up on a real relationship.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina could bring some temptation for Sonny sooner or later.
